The Sixty Minutes scam backfires badly

Subject: Sixty minutes

I have just watched the segment tonight (full transcript here) & to use Pauline's words, 'what a load of bunk'. Let her know that oysters are great inside but an awful lot of barnicles grow on the outside.

Keep plugging for a great Australia. More email responses under "You Say".

I have now updated my comprehensive report on Sixty Minutes. This report, can be found here. Sixty Minutes is a disgrace. Not only are the unethical in their reporting but they are fraudulent in the surveys that they carry on-line. Proof at the link above. (Here are earlier examples of 60 Minutes lack of ethics when reporting on Mrs Hanson).

Comments on 60 Minutes from an independent media watch reporter:

Here is an extract from this article:

Last night's 60 minutes story on Pauline Hanson and the US militiamen was brilliant. It wasn't brilliant journalism, it was a brilliant corporate hit, less than a week from the QLD elections.

There were signs the Nine Network had pulled the big guns to shoot Hanson. In recent times, every single Channel Nine program, with possibly the exception of "Here's Humphrey" and "Catch Phrase", had a go at smearing Pauline Hanson and One Nation. The typical hit-men for the occasion were people like Laurie Oakes who masterfully fakes an impartial observer, and company-men like former Senator Graeme Richardson who gives a bad name to prostitutes. I almost forgot Ray Martin, the man who used to be a journalist.

For the readers who may not be familiar with dishonesty, hypocrisy, double standards, propaganda and gutter journalism, I will outline here some of the tricks that 60 Minutes weakly passes off as investigative journalism.

First, the story has to be one-sided. No point in inviting One Nation to spoil the party by refuting the allegations. The wildest claims can be made to sound overwhelming when unchallenged.

ASIO now monitoring Global Web Builders

I suppose that I will be accused of "conspiracy theories" for raising this issue, but hey if Sixty Minutes can establish a baseless set of comments as proof positive that Pauline Hanson's One Nation is being controlled by loonies in the US, why not.

I have much more concrete evidence. Such as the Attorney General, Darryll Williams, saying that ASIO are monitoring the party. Last night's trash on Sixty Minutes referred to the Internet as being the main source of information flow... guess who looks after One Nation's web sites.

Well, I have a simple message for ASIO. I do not own a gun, even a knife (although my wife has some in the kitchen). I have never owned a gun in Australia (that's the last twelve years); I have no need to and don't feel that I want to.

Now that we have got that out of the way... conspiracy theories - the only one I saw last night was the trash that they dished up on Sixty Minutes in the segment "CALL TO ARMS".

For the record Jeff McMullen is the same reporter who did a can job on Pauline Hanson in 1997. A prime example of an intellectual prostitute.

Heiner document enquiry reaches new heights

Kevin Lindeberg has told me that he will ask the Supreme Court to issue an injunction against the Criminal Justice Commission preventing them from handling the investigation into the Heiner Affair.

Lindeberg said that the CJC had previously misled or given false evidence on the Heiner affair and could not be trusted.

His view was supported by One Nation state director Peter James who said, "There are at least six Labor members of Parliament who were involved in the scandal who could be ministers in a Beattie government. Labor cannot be trusted to investigate the matter.

"The only way out is for a special prosecutor to investigate the matter."

One Nation to launch election policies today

Pauline Hanson's One Nation will today officially launch its policies at the Barry Jones auditorium at the Ipswich Global Information Centre at 1pm. I will be there to cover the event.

Last night Heather Hill told me, "We must have more people working in private enterprise and contributing to the economy rather than being a drain on welfare or taking up unrealistic government courses that do not lead to jobs.

"Education becomes irrelevant if there are simply no jobs, so governments must allow for an atmosphere where private enterprise can create permanent jobs."

Ian Petersen, the party's deputy leader and spokesman for primary industry, will today announce that party's plans for a Au$20 million rescue package for the pig industry.

Explain the treaty

Extract from Sydney Morning Herald - 8th June 1998

WHEN a treaty like the Multilateral Agreement on Investment (MAI) is opposed by the hard Right, the hard Left, the soft Right and the soft Left and by distinguished former judges it is clearly under considerable pressure. Given the range of this opposition, it is incumbent on the Federal Government to present the community with strong and convincing arguments for the MAI. But according to the Federal Parliament's joint standing committee on treaties, to which the MAI was referred by the Foreign Minister, Mr Downer, this has not been done. The consequence of this is that a treaty that has the potential to help the Australian economy might be lost through the lack of proper and adequate explanation.

You say:

Global Web Builders and others now monitored by ASIO

Whilst Darryl Williams did not confirm on the SUNDAY program that ASIO is investigating the One Nation Party he expressed himself in such manner that one would understand they do.

He said that ASIO observes everyone who advocates or might advocate violence in our society.

Gee, is it the threat that One Nation promotes violence or are we already on the track to attempt to throttle anyone and/or anything which threatens the dominance of the two major political parties (Labor and Liberal/National Coalition?

Again, I have NOT heard anywhere that the One Nation Party said anything as to inciting violence.

The only violence which could erupt because of the One Nation Party is violent action started by the ANTI - HANSON lobby in retaliation that some Australians voted for One Nation.

Do we muffle or even ban a party because the opponents of the party might turn violent if that party gets votes?

Do when then muffle or ban the Coalition because stern Labor supporters and militant unionists might go on strike which might involve violence if people dare NOT to vote for Labor?

You gotto be jokin......

According to what I have been told, what I have read and what I have seen the One Nation Party basically wants to re-build our society as it was in 1975 during the Whitlam years.

Even if you hate Pauline Hanson's guts you'd better stick to the truth and stop the fairy tales because otherwise you motivate voters even more to vote for One Nation.

Subject: Re: Queensland State Elections Live

Dear Scott,

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for the work and information you give out to people like me.

I have emailed my view to both 60 Minutes and Toyota, and oddly enough have not received any reply as yet.... hmmmmm......

I also visited 60 Minutes' Chat room, only to be confronted with more censorship. One screen on the left where the guest speaker talks to the 60 minutes people, and one on the right where all of the real people pose their questions, hoping desperately they will be one of the chosen few who get's a question over to the left box. I guess they have valid reasons for doing it that way, but it just made me smile.

I will be viewing your live election site and hoping for One Nation's success.

Yours sincerely,
Andrew Buttner.

I was excluded (ie not allowed to get into the chat room... see this image capture informing me).

Subject: 60 Minutes TV program

It has come to my attention and to the attention of thousands of other Toyota owners and potential owners that Toy is a sponsor of Australia's 60 minutes TV program.

You should know that 60 minutes in its personal vilification of Pauline Hanson, Australian Member of Parliament for Oxley, is engaging in the most scurrilous, deceptive, dastardly, dishonest, journalism ever seen on television anywhere!

Continuing sponsorship of Australian 60 Minutes TV programs, will reflect most unfavourably upon Toyotas ability to present factual information about its products, everywhere they are offered for sale..

Subject: 60 Minutes Sponsership

Dear Sir,

Below is a copy of a press release posted to me via EMail. It appears to indicate that a programme, with which your name is connected, intends putting to air a story concerning a political party, one week before an election, with no right of reply until after the election.

I am not a member of One Nation, but I am concerned about the fact that one programme has the power to make (supposedly) false allegations about somebody then refuse (effectively) to allow that person to defend themselves.

This would be similar to me telling a prospective Toyota owner a bunch of lies and then admitting I was mistaken after he had bought a Nissan.

I ask you to register a protest to the programme concerned, 60 minutes, and ask them to allow One Nation equal air time in this week's show or postpone their programme until after the election.

Yours Faithfully,

Colin S. Clark.

Subject: SHAME SHAME SHAME

SHAME SHAME SHAME

Toyota makes good cars.

While I am against censorship in any form. Please look at the programs that go out in your name.
Why don't you insist on the same quality you have in your cars in the programs you support.
The sixty minutes show last night linking one nation with the US militia men was DISGRACEFUL.
The people who made this program and those who let it go to air are the real loonies.

Journalists report the news, not make the news (or make up the news). If there is a link report it, but don't manufacture it.

Subject: Come on Toyota, get it together.

Dear Toyota;

In my working life I have brought a total of 47 Toyota light trucks.

I do not buy Toyota because the trucks are any better than Mazda, or any easier to work on; frankly modern vehicles are fairly well all the same, the market is close.

I buy Toyota for the companies integrity.

The 60 Minutes television program that Toyota is proud to sponsor has broken every rule of Aussie integrity and decency. Did you see the way that Pauline Hanson was treated by that program?

All through the butcher-interview your products were pushed. Come-on, this is really not right. Take a long hard look at the voting public, how many people do you think will be voting for Pauline next election, how many will drive Toyota vehicles?

The One Nation Party projects nothing that Japan does not project, a fair shake for the people of that nation, who built that nation. One would expect more support from a Japanese company for the right to speak freely and teach of ones views.

I am very disappointed in Toyota.

The only reason I will buy another is because we have a shed full of Toyota spares and we are experienced on your motor formats. But if you continue to support interviews of the like of the 60 minute insult, the push to a non-Toyota would be complete.

Please have your PR people look at what you support. Australians have embraced Toyota, don't push us away.

Subject: Hanson Fairytale

Whether or not your Company was aware of the content of the 60 Minutes segment (7/6/98) regarding the 'link' between Hanson's One Nation and para-military groups in USA; one thing came out loud and clear - you sponsored a program which did not give the viewing public (least-ways, Hanson herself) the chance to test the validity of claims. Instead viewers were subjected to innuendo that One Nation was linked VIA THE INTERNET to one or all of these groups. I personally wasted (2) hours trying to get a link in less than (10) keystrokes. I failed! That leaves the credibility of the 60 Minute crew in shreds. The whole segment was an hysterical political exercise which should leave your management humiliated and outraged!

Subject: Re: Toyota - Sixty Minutes' sponsors need to know

Dear Scott Balson,

Just to let you know that 5 minutes ago I sent a very robust E-mail to Toyota about "Sixty Minutes". Should you require a copy I can send it. Good luck.

Regards,
Gregory Lauder-Frost.

Subject: 60 Minutes.

You are losing us Toyota. 60 Minutes have continued to ambush One Nation and Pauline Hanson unfairly and in a very discriminating fashion. Rather than let the lady say what she and One Nation are standing for and their policies we continue to see the 60 Minutes team go for her throat with innuendo and half truths. That is not unbiased reporting - it is doing as their political masters demand to try to draw the teeth of a truly representative but small political party. Now when I see a Toyota advertisement I will see bias and repression of a different political view. Shame Toyota to see your formerly proud and successful company associated with such low and underhanded reporting.

And yes we owned a Landcruiser.

Subject: SIXTY MINUTES SUNDAY

What a fizzer! I have not watched that show for years and now I know why. If Packer thinks that juvenile bit of bull will make any impression on anyone but a mentally defective idiot, he's not as smart as I thought he was. They would have been more credible with a story about the bogey man, I am convinced they think that most people are idiots. Anyway that stupid show does not require comment, it speaks for itself.

A little part of the TV news last night does require comment and that was an utterance by the Federal Attorney-General that he is considering getting ASIO to investigate FAR RIGHT WING groups associated with the One Nation Party. What Far Right Wing Groups? The dreaded LEAGUE of RIGHTS, even the Australia First Party or maybe even the Ladies Bowls Club?

What ridiculous nonsense! How come he can use a body like ASIO for political purposes? We are no threat to the nation's security, but we sure as hell are a threat to some politician's security come polling day.

The desperation being shown by the previously smug mugs is a measure of what people power can achieve. So I ask all Queenslanders to think deeply on voting day. We will not get another chance.

Subject: 60 Minute Program Sunday 7/6/98

I wish to express my anger at the unethical and biased behaviour of the 60 Minute program presenters and staff over the reporting on Pauline Hanson/One Nation section on tonight.

I am not a member of One Nation but I am increasingly disgusted at the behaviour of our media representatives in any footage concerning Pauline and the One Nation Party. There seems to be a definite aim of vilifying and defaming her and anyone who feels that her party may be saying what many in the electorate are feeling.

The continual attempts to connect her with the so called 'Right Wing Radical' movements without any attempt to give Pauline the opportunity to respond and give a balanced view for the audience to decide on is blatantly wrong. I understand that 60 Minutes did not contact by One Nation officials to give them the chance to respond to the allegations. This is unethical reporting at it's worst.

I am disgusted that a respected company such as Toyota would support such standards on any show it sponsors. Although being a Toyota driver and owner over the years if this is what the company feels acceptable standards, then I must seriously consider my purchasing of your vehicles in the future.

Subject: The Best Defence

Dear Scott Balson,
Global Web Builders,

Hopefully you watched the whole of the Sixty Minutes programme and not just the nine or ten minutes segment on the perceived similarities between grassroots rebellion against corrupt politicians in the United States of America and the less than perfect ones in Australia.

Clearly the decisionmakers in the "major" political parties in Australia are dirtying their pants, in fear at the realisation that a new force, headed by the One Nation party, may at last be about to disturb their cosy rorts and their blatant sellout, for some very temporary personal benefits including ego trips, to foreign powers.

As indicated previously, and for the reasons given, you can expect the dutiful media employees, like those in the sixty minutes team, to seek to denigrate the Hansonites, and indeed any other group of citizens who dare to question the legitimacy of the unelected, unaccountable non-parliamentary political party machine hierarchies manipulation of their parliamentary puppets.

Instead of bemoaning the injustice of the system or the lack of ethical standards (there are no clearly defined ones in the political and media arenas anyhow) and the use of dirty tricks by those with the most to lose, you should perhaps be capitalising on the situation and very loudly and publicly congratulating the Nine Network television group, and the advertisers which funded the programme, for obligingly explaining to their viewers that Australia is by no means the only country in which significant sections of the citizenry have been waking up to the gross inadequacy of the representation of their needs in parliament (and government) and their realisation that entrenched political machines (total financial membership in Australia of less than two percent - 2% - of the population) have hidden agendas and ulterior motives that are not in the public interest.

However we do not need to advise you on tactics as One Nation undoubtedly has its fair share of "experts".

Elsewhere in the sixty minutes programme there was some potentially useful advocacy of "get up and go" in the non-metropolitan areas of Australia - namely the segment on Guyra - and it is hoped that you will make good use of that as a classic example of how local communities can survive and prosper in spite of the deliberate attempts, of Labor and Liberal parties, to destroy them.

Subject: Re: Sixty Minutes vs Pauline Hanson

for your info on media manipulation. Lies and Deceit of the Mainstream Media

Lies and deceit are powerful tools used by the mainstream media to control the ordinary people in Australia and indeed throughout the world.

"Strong words . . . where is the evidence?" you may well ask if you have been conditioned by a lifetime of exposure to that media with its often repeated themes of freedom of the press, competition, campaigns for the allegedly oppressed, professional journalism, and so on.

Here is the evidence:

The evidence is so extensive that it takes a book to present it adequately. A good book is by the American professors Edward Herman and Noam Chomsky, and is entitled "Manufacturing Consent - The Political Economy of the Mass Media" (ISBN 0-09-953311-1). It is also available as a film. Admittedly it deals with the media in that bastion of freedom, the United States of America, but the evidence presented is readily translated to the Australian scene.

Buy the book on-line at the MIT Bookstore if it has mysteriously disappeared from your local library, as has happened in Tony Pitt's home town of Maryborough, Queensland. If you are wondering if it is worth it, check these reviews:

1. May I make a recommendation to pick up on the writing of Noam Chomsky, a linguist at MIT who in his spare time (!) documents the ways in which links between sectors of the establishment (e.g. big business, the military, the press & media) mutually reinforce a single view of the world which is, conveniently, shaped so as to advantage...err..big business, the military & the media.

2. The author depicts how an underlying elite consensus largely structures all facets of news. He reveals how issues are framed and how topics are chosen, contrasting the double standard underlying the accounts of free elections, a free press, and governmental repression in third world countries.

3. One facet of Chomsky's reasoning is that states have the capacity to 'manufacture consent' - i.e. deliberately use information to enforce one view of an event at the expense of all other views. The bombing of Libya, allegedly for their part in the destruction of the PanAm flight over Lockerbie is one example - there is (arguably) more evidence to prove Libya's innocence on this count than their guilt. The whole Gulf War business entailed a fairly large amount of mud-slinging in the direction of Iraq (probably mosty justified) but was extremely sotto voce about equally foul aspects of life in Kuwait.

Media in the 20th Century are omnipresent and, some would claim, omnipotent. Chomsky's analysis focuses on the theory and practice of propaganda in democratic societies where populations not disciplined by force are subjected to more subtle forms of ideological control. He reveals how news coverage of world events by the "elite media" mobilises public support for the moneyed "special interests" that dominate society through a process he calls "the manufacture of consent."

Drawing on wide-ranging and persuasive examples, and two compelling case-studies (the media's role in the Gulf War, and the suppression of information about East Timor during the media frenzy about Pol Pot) the film shows how information must be filtered to serve powerful, and too-often private, agendas. As a counterbalance to the daily dose of info-overload, Chomsky encourages people to extricate themselves from this "web of deceit" by undertaking "a course of intellectual self-defense." He argues that alternative media are more democratic, offering citizens greater participation in social and political life.

How do they do it?

Here are just a few of their techniques:

. . . and the list goes on and on

Try for yourself this simple test of free speech in the media: Try this test to see if your favourite local newspaper is willing to publish views it opposes. Select and print any article you like from this website . . . change the wording slightly if you want to - we won't sue you for breach of copyright . . . and send it to your newspaper clearly marked "For publication as a letter to the editor". There are no convincing reasons for not publishing, as there can be no more important issues than the wellbeing of the country in which we live. Nevertheless, your submission is unlikely to be published, because freedom of speech in the media usually means freedom for the media to say whatever it likes.

AUSTRALIAN POLLIES AND MOST MEDIA LIE

You have been subjected to the greatest media misinformation program since Hitler and Mussolini duped the people of Europe in the thirties. Pauline Hanson has not damaged Australian/Asian relations. The media liars deliberately misinformed Asia, and Asians took the bait.

Jump to Pauline Hanson's Launch of One Nation speech and READ IT. Find in this speech one sentence that smacks of racism or bigotry. Then ponder how every political party and every major media chain were able to determine that the speech was racist.

You are being conned by professional media brainwashing. It is actually Neuro Linguistic Programming, a tactic used by the USSR. They were able to convince their people that their economy was growing about 20% every year and they got away with it for seventy years. How stupid were the people of Russia to believe Pravda (the USSR media/propaganda machine)?

How stupid are we? Our economy has grown every year under the ALP/DEM/GREENS and every year under the LIB/NATS. Both parties have added 250,000 new jobs to Australia's economy as our jobless grew from twenty-five thousand to a million. Both parties have been able to reduce the deficit as our national debt rose from $10 billion to $200 or $400 billion depending on whose figures one believes.

Pauline Hanson offers a way out if she works with the Australian Reform Party, Shooters Party, Australia First and the other 275 pro freedom groups. They are already awake to the damage the ALP/DEM/LIB/NAT/GREENS have done to our country. If you enjoyed reading Pauline's Launch of One Nation speech you might also enjoy reading her maiden speech to parliament, here.

Subject: Channel 9's TODAY show Monday

It appears that Channel Nine just can't put a foot right. On the Today Show this morning, they had John Pasquarelli as a guest hoping to continue the bagging of Pauline, but it backfired . He bagged Channel Nine and said that the Sixty Minutes program screened last night was a disgrace, and wanted to know why the pollies are spending so much time denigrating her . Ah well, we knew they were dumb.

Letters to the Editor
The Australian

Sir!

Well might the Prime Minister call Pauline Hanson deranged over her revelation of plans for an Aboriginal State. Let's face it, with the inroads she is making upon the Coalition's core voters, I am surprised he is not purple with fury.

But he has missed his target. For Pauline Hanson is absolutely correct. The push for Aboriginal self-government dates back decades, as Dr Henry Reynolds tells us. Judith Wright, Father Frank Brennan and the late Kevin Gilbert have all published books promoting this subject, including detailed treaties to be signed to effect an Aboriginal State. They differ in detail, but some things are common. Lots of land, lots of money and Aboriginal control over their own affairs.

Self-government and the involvement of the United Nations are things that the folk at the Aboriginal Tent Embassy outside Old Parliament House in Canberra take for granted. They see the High Court down the road as merely a stepping stone to an appeal to the UN. And who can blame them, after centuries of the most appalling treatment?

Pauline Hanson obviously does not see the division of our nation along racial lines as a good thing, nor, to tell the truth, do I, but I recognise that this question is an important one, and demands informed discussion and debate amongst the entire community.

So if the leader of this country would quit calling his opponents names and start to address the issue, we might get somewhere.

Sir,
your Obedient servant,

Peter Mackay

Subject: Re: Statement on Sixty Minutes by Pauline Hanson

Dear sir,

Thank you for supplying the link to 60 minutes. What a piece of pure drivel and garbage. I emailed them stating that they had in fact convinced me to support One Nation. I could not see where they established a link between P.H. and the US Militia groups.

However, don't think that the Australian Public can't see through 60 minutes. My husband and I watch it and have long realised that Ray Martin is biased and will do anything within his power to pull you down. We are ordinary middle class Ozzies and there are many friends who will be voting for One Nation when our time comes.

Dont' be afraid of lies, innuendo or intimidation. Your party is breath of fresh air. Truth and goodness will always shine through.

Luv and hugs,

Subject: Re: Statement on Sixty Minutes from Pauline Hanson

Channel Nine lost credibility with myself and many others several years ago. We had collected enough data and personal testimony to 'lift the lid' on the diabolical Seventh-Day Adventists (SDAs) and their dictatorial, mind -coercion techniques for Current Affair. The story was complete and ready to air.

However, I was to later learn from a CA source that it was canned by the marketing arm of the Nine Network because Sanatorium Health Foods (wholly owned by the SDAs and not a public company, staffed by SDAs - particularly their college students working their way to pay their fees through the SDA's Avondale Bible College) then had an annual $19 million (?) dollar advertising account!

Money for Nine is more important than truth! I believe that Ray Martin is also one of the main 'new evangelists' of current social engineering in our country!

Subject: Re: Corruption. Tax office.

Scott, you are doing a great job, keep it up. No one is saying it but I was alive in 1974 and the mood of the electorate is identical to the way it was then. Queensland sent a message to Canberra that we were not happy. The leader of The Labor opposition lost his seat and there were only 11 Labor members in Parliament. Our people are going to have to grow into their new jobs quickly.

Did you see the article on Tax office. It's quite corrupt and has been put front page and centre by this article. Would you please put it to the next premier that she make public corruption an issue when she issues Her policies this week.

Good on you mate.

Subject: Re: Pauline Hanson vs Sixty Minutes

Dear Scott,

Thank you for your message. All of the people we know are a wake up to the mainstream media. That's why the enemy goes to such lengths to try to bag Tony. They use useful fools in the party to make out he is a radical, red neck etc etc so he can't help Pauline. The media misreport him the same as they do Pauline for the same reason. Pauline and Tony are the biggest threat to their game play.

The Sunday program this morning is another typical example of what they do. They put black shadows on faces of the people they are interviewing to make them look sinister. They ask unexpected questions to make you look a fool and don't know what you are talking about.

I don't think Howard and Beazley are fooling the people This is a letter to the editor received a day or so ago from Pat Washington on the Gold Coast:

"If Pauline Hanson does become a force in government it will be because of the power of the denigrating media. An exhibition such as Ray Martin's grossly unfair interview with her on 3rd inst will win her many votes. Above all, most Australians believe in a "fair go" and a "fair go" wasn't what Ray Martin accorded her. Many a defensive and sympathetic heart would have been won by the quaver in her voice and the flush down her neck as she staunchly defended what she believes is right. Never, in my long life, have I seen such a vile and hateful campaign as the one being conducted against this courageous woman. Even caution John Howard joins in with the derogatory remarks calling her "deranged" and she had previously referred to him as a "gentleman". Wrong tactics, boys and girls, your bullying ways will only win her votes and then you will only have yourselves to blame! Could you also remind your contacts that Bob Menzies tried to outlaw the Communist Party in the early 50's but the people said no. If you outlaw them, then you will have the power to outlaw any other political party.

Sometimes the people are more astute that we think.

Everything is going well up here.

Best regards
Pat Pitt

Subject: Law & Order etc.

Sir,

I am beginning to think most of the pollies are smoking pot. It is the only thing I can think of that would explain some of the utterances of late.

Take Law and Order, they are going to build more goals, and toughen the penalties, in other words, slap another band-aid on and hope it will get better. Well, it won't. Not one has mentioned finding the cause and treating that.

They should be asking themselves why is it there more shootings, stabbing, robberies with violence, domestic upheavals and general mayhem than we have ever had? Instead of promising to put more police on patrol, that will not do a thing to even slow the crime rate.

Why this more or less sudden increase in crime and violence? I believe there are a number of reasons and the main ones would be the path taken by Australia's political parties over the last 30 years. Through their policies of showing the world the way to GLOBALISM, they have destroyed this country.

Their policies have caused massive unemployment and those people have become very frustrated which in turn has led to violence. Did you know there are more incidences involving guns than before the gun laws and the confiscation of guns was brought in, domestic violence has increased out of all proportion, child crime has increased alarmingly?

The unemployment was the result of uncontrolled foreign investment where our governments allowed the sale of Australian owned businesses to foreigners instead of insisting on the establishment of new business. Another cause was the premature lifting of tariffs, Another was the deregulation of the banks, a very bad move that one.

The solution? Not easy, but the first thing would be to tax the multinationals at the same rate as Australian businesses, next, regulate the banks again, then create an Australian Bank that is owned by the Australian people as was the Commonwealth Bank that funded two world wars without debt.

Next, cease trying to big note ourselves by giving away billions of dollars ( which we can't afford) to countries like Indonesia and Malaysia. Next, introduce a form of National Service with basic military training but mainly to acquire workplace skills, which have been sadly depleted. Next, disband the Aboriginal Industry, this will ensure that the money allocated to Aborigines gets to where it is needed and not in the fat cat's pockets. Next, an equitable tax system like the DEBIT TAX. NO G.S.T. Next, any business operating in Australia must be 60% Australian owned.

That should get things rolling again and when they do we can have a bonfire of all the UN Treaties that our government has signed without our knowledge.

WHERE IS ALL THE MONEY COMING FROM? From the AUSTRALIAN BANK. Instead of taxes being paid into Consolidated Revenue which is controlled by Treasury, they are paid directly into the Australia Bank where a balance sheet would be issued every year and before the pollies could get loans they would have to grovel like the public have to.

Finally, ban all academics from positions of advisers to the government or from meddling in politics.
