Between the One Nation lines

A wonderful day was spent at Parliament House in Brisbane with the eleven new One Nation MPs.

The media were barred for most of the day. "The chooks", as Sir Joh called them, hanging around outside the front door of the large building quizzing all and sundry who came through the doors in the morning.

"Are you a One Nation MP?" Mike's stuck in face, cameras glaring... Peter Prenzler who was helping me with my computer gear said, "Yes"... "Will you be going for the leadership?".... every move followed, cameras flashing (heck, they must have fun!) "No" said Peter...

And in we went.

Full coverage of the day and evenings events can be found at this link.

Below are a set of four images taken from the day.

Left to right: Alan from Channel 9's 60 Minutes does some weird pre-recording exercise routine; Lady Flo and Sir Joh Bjelke Petersen (ex-National State MP for Barambah and Premier of Queensland in the 1980s) with Dorothy Pratt One Nation MP for Barambah; "secret women's business;  and "old friends".

SBS Television to target Pauline Hanson's One Nation

It is now open war on the broadband with SBS chief, Nigel Milan, now urging his staff at the government funded politically correct multicultural television station to counter Pauline Hanson's "racist policies".

SBS was funded by the Labor party in their drive "at all costs" to retain power at a Federal Level.

Here is an extract: "Sheehan writes, “Labor spent more than a billion dollars building a system of patronage, dependence and influence among ethnic groups.... During its thirteen years in office. (Unions receive Au$16.5 million)... The multicultural industry is a surrogate for Labor."”

In an internal SBS newsletter Milan says many achievements of Australia's multicultural society were being "jeopardised by bigoted and narrow minded people intent on tearing down the very things that have made Australia unique.

A spokesman for Mr Milan denied that the already biased SBS News would become even more radical in its unethical reporting. "They are his personal views. Our independent news gathering facilities are not in question."

Yesterday Pauline Hanson lashed out at SBS saying that the tax payer funding for this organisation should be stopped if the network was found to be actively "campaigning against her".

She said SBS was trying to destroy democracy and freedom of speech.

"I do not believe taxpayers' dollars should fund an organisation which is determined to destroy our way of life and culture in this country," she said.

Mrs Hanson launched an attack against ethnic leaders saying that the SBS coverage exemplified the dangers of the "multicultural industry".

"I have to ask how much control does the ethnic community have over Australians, how much pull do they have?"

SBS newsreader, the politically correctly (selected) Indira Naidoo said yesterday, "She (Mrs Hanson) is not advocating the mass slaughter of Jews, but we would not dream of giving Hitler and Stalin national free air time," when adding to comments claiming that One Nation got too much air time and saying that news outlets should ignore much of her "hate speech" to parliament last year.

So much for independence in the media!

New Queensland state leader brushes the top bureaucratic floors bare.

Yesterday we wrote:

"An important part of the tradition in new governments is cleaning out the upper levels of bureaucracy. And Peter Beattie has wasted no time getting out the brush to clean out what the state Coalition left behind.

"The ceremonial changing of the guard has seen twelve of Queensland's top eighteen bureaucrats being given their walking notice. Get out by Monday is the call from Beattie. Those being given the push include: Allan Male (Families Youth and Community Care); Doug McTaggart (Under Treasurer); Kevin Wolff (Public Service); John Hocken (Emergency Services); Col Thatcher (Training  and Industrial Relations); Peter Ellis (Premier and Cabinet); Kevin Martin (Justice); Bob Day (mines and energy); Tom Tolhurst (Environment); Dick Wharton (Transport and Main Roads); Roly Nieper (Primary Industries) and Kevin Davies (Public Works and Housing).

"The manner in which the move has been covered by The Courier Mail reflects that paper's interesting political Labor bias. When the Coalition took power with the help of Independent Liz Cunningham the headlines were full of outrage that such a move could be conceived... today the headline is quite simple... "Top bureaucrats sacked" with a picture of Peter Beattie leaning like a grinning cheshire cat on a seat in the empty floor of Parliament.

This is only the start of the sanitising of the state bureaucracy - according to Beattie.

Then we can see the true face of bullshitter Beattie when he says there won't be public service purge.

Queensland Premier Peter Beattie says there will not be a purge of senior public servants as Labor takes over the reins of Government. Mr Beattie has been sworn in as Premier and believes he will be able to shed the caretaker role on Monday.

Mr Beattie says the latest legal advice is that Parliament cannot sit until July 28, which was thought to have meant that Labor could act only in a caretaker role until then. But Mr Beattie thinks that will not apply.

"There are matters that still we need to take legal advice on but as I understand it, we will be a full government from Monday afternoon," he said. "We will not be in caretaker mode."

Mr Beattie is promising there will not be a purge of departmental directors-general but concedes there will be changes.

He says he is prepared to pay to bring in the best. "If you headhunt the best, they save the taxpayer millions of dollars and these people have got to perform," he said.

"They will be on performance-based contracts, they will be required to perform and every year they'll come before me and I'll assess their performance."

Beattie off on a junket to Asia

No sooner has he been appointed caretaker Premier than Beattie takes himself off for a junket to Asia. Of course the guise is to halt the damage being done by the rise and rise of the "anti-Asian" One Nation party.

He said, "I do find it disturbing when I hear stories from friends of mine of Asian ancestry where there kids are abused at bus stops and they get their bags stuffed in urinals at bus stops.

"If you're a farmer and you want to sell your produce around the world, you have to trade. Trade means jobs and One Nation destroys that."

Beattie was able to form government with the help of Independent Peter Wellington. Today we hope to be meeting with that other Independent from Gladstone, Liz Cunningham.

One Nation more a franchise than a party: Beazley

There is a senior Australian politician in panic mode. He is opposition leader Kim Beazley and the panic set in after discovering that 45% of voters in his West Australian federal seat of Brand would cast their primary vote to Pauline Hanson's One Nation. Yesterday Beazley struck out like a deranged person claiming One Nation was more like a franchise than a party.

"It's not so much a party, it's a franchise, with a puppet and a puppeteer and a fundraiser, the puppet being Pauline Hanson, the puppeteer being (adviser) David Oldfield and the fundraiser being (David) Ettridge, who gets 12.5 per cent of what they raise," Mr Beazley told ABC Radio.

"They've just purged the main One Nation branch in my constituency, so they haven't started out too well as the exemplars of democratic, non-political behaviour.

"I think that is about the most ruthless activity a political party engages in, and they engage in it with gusto."

The reasons people elected 11 One Nation candidates in Queensland this month concerned personal, economic and family security, whereas One Nation was founded on race and guns, with Pauline Hanson now in the racist Aryan Nation Hall of Fame on the Internet, he said.

One Nation had the least democratic internal structure of any party in Australia, he said.

"Its own politics are as manipulatively political as that of any other political party, and deceitful," Mr Beazley said.

Ms Hanson had voted in federal parliament for the government's industrial relations changes, the now defunct controversial nursing home bonds, higher prices on pharmaceuticals and the common youth allowance which was causing angst for unemployed kids in the bush, he said.

Mr Beazley said Australians needed to turn to each other, not turn on each other.

"We have to ... lift ourselves a bit above ourselves so we don't implode, turning in on each other instead of turning to each other," he said.

He said Labor was the only party never to have underestimated One Nation since its formation last year.

Mr Beazley said Prime Minister John Howard must stop flirting with One Nation and instead discipline all branches and his coalition colleagues in the National Party.

Asked what Mr Howard was likely to do, he said: "What the Prime Minister has done so far in the management of this country on any particular social issue, let alone the economic management of this country, doesn't leave you with great confidence he'll do much of any use at all."

Beazley, you are dead meat... you represent what is sick in our Australian parliamentary system and your sins have found you out. The blustering Beazley's desperation is starting to escalate with the following email being received late last night:

Subject: Info please

Tonight on the news, Kim Beastly claimed that Pauline Hanson has placed herself on a KKK related website, I'm sure this is not true, do you have any info on this? thanks

Gray Hodge

No Gray, Pauline Hanson did not place herself on any KKK site. This is the conspiracy stuff that has been discredited time and again by the One Nation party.

The claims are just part of a smear campaign from self seeking career politicians who feed of the media barons for their very survival. Sick isn't it!

UPDATE: For the record I have spent an hour going through all the Ku Klux Klan websites and links on Yahoo and can find no reference in any of them to Pauline Hanson or One Nation.

If you want to see the sick end of town (Labor) check out this unmoderated web site promoted by the politically correct Labor party.

Dear Editor,

Some very significant events are taking place in the political arena of Australia..... a group of Australia's grass-roots citizens are in process of taking back their government from the Political elites who have held it and used its facilities to personal advantage for many, many years. These events are a direct result of the election of a courageous, perceptive lady from the grass- roots named Pauline Hanson, to a seat in the Australian federal parliament.

Since Pauline Hanson's election in 1996 and her formation of a new party Pauline Hanson's One Nation on April 11, 1997, the political elites, backed up by their supportive, captive media, have tried every book in the dirty trick book to denigrate Ms. Hanson her supporters. Their efforts have come to naught and have in fact had just the opposite effect ..... the people from Australia's grass- roots are flocking to her leadership and the One Nation party by leaps and bounds, determined to take their government back! Their most significant move to date was voter selection of 11 One Nation candidates to fill 11 of 89 seats in the Queensland state election on June 13th. They are true citizen legislators, as not one of the 11 elected candidates has ever held public office before!

It surprises me to note that without apparently checking the facts, the conservative Washington Times has recently printed material incorrectly portraying Pauline Hanson and her One Nation party. In particular I refer to:

1. Peter James Spielmann's(Associated Press) story in the Washington Times of 12 June 1998, "Far-right Australian candidate close to wielding political clout." This headline was correct except it should now be corrected to read IS wielding political clout". His presentation of Ms. Hanson's views, reads like they came from the Washington Post or the NY Times, concerning any views other than that of the Clinton Administration.

2. Peter James Spielmann's(Associated Press) story of 14 june entitled "Anti-Asian party fares well in Australian election". Again Anti-Asian is incorrect but the fact that her party's candidates took 23.5% of the vote in Queensland's state election on June 13, speaks for itself as to her standing with the Queensland voters.

Mr. Spielmann incorrectly stated that she first made headlines with her maiden speech in parliament on (March 16), 1996. In fact she first made headlines as a endorsed candidate for the Liberal party's Ipswich Queensland seat, with a letter to the editor she wrote to the Queensland Times on 6 Jan., 1886. In this letter she blew the whistle on some misdeeds of the governing federal coalition that included her party.

For writing this letter of facts for the public to see, she was dis-endorsed as a member of the party, ran as an Independent candidate and was elected!

3. Associated Press photo at top of WORLD in Brief, A22 June 14, referring to her as leader of Australia's "Anti-Asian" and "protectionist" party. She if not Anti-Asian but is presented that way by the major Australian political parties and their elite captive media, rather she is strongly pro-Australian. She favours Australian ownership of business over foreign ownership. If this is "protectionist" it should be so presented.

4. Jack Taylor's(Agency France Presse) and Michael Perry's (Reuters News Agency) stories under the Headline, "Making waves in Australia" with sub-headings "Support growing for 15-month-old One nation Party" and "Hanson's rise reflects new attitudes don immigration.

Taylor's story and the accompanying photo makes feeble attempts to present Ms. Hanson as a flighty sex-bomb. Perry's story presents a fairly balanced account of Australia's immigration situation over the years. Neither story mentioned the fact that Australia's major parties have "arranged" the rules such that while the One Nation candidates received 23.5% of the votes in the Queensland election, they only received 11 seats(12.3%) out of 89.

All the above is documented by material received via the internet from the first Aussie internet daily newspaper, "Australian National News of the Day" owned by Global Web Builders at gwb@gwb.com.au. News from this paper is "archived for perpetuity in the national Library of Australia".

Very truly yours,

Dear Scott

I was intrigued to watch the 7.30 Report on the ABC last week when Kim Beazley was interviewed. He intimated that he didn't realise the general public would be interested in MAI, the UN, GATT and all the things Pauline and Co. had been telling us, and said that maybe the public needed to be better informed. Did anyone at One Nation watch the programme? Anyway, that is what I gleaned from the interview. Maybe other people who watched the show may have got another impression. I just shook my head. If there is one thing that makes me really angry and that is when someone tries to insult my intelligence. Now that some people in the media are listening to Pauline, Kim Beazley deigns to admit that they (Labour Party) may have made some mistakes.

Today, I surfed the Net and clicked onto the Labour Party's web site. I was really offended by one of the links where there was denigrating comments made about Pauline under the title of "Humour". Well, if that's their definition of "humour", I'd hate to know what makes them laugh! Haven't they got better things to do? As far as I'm concerned they can continue behaving in that manner because they will only alienate themselves from voters who have a sense of fairness and integrity. I'd also written them a letter informing them I was no longer a Labour supporter/voter. Why? Because the list is too long and I believe and support Pauline and One Nation. The best thing she ever did for me at the Cairns rally was to inform people there she was on the Internet. So I logged on and read and read. Now I'm informing others to do the same.

Wishing Pauline and One Nation all the best in the Federal Elections and I shall be doing all I can up here in Cairns to help the party. I am a member and supporter.

Yours sincerely

Letters to the Editor

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

EMERALD - (Sunday, June 28, 1998) - Tax reform, have you considered the options?

There is more to the Howard Government’s plan to introduce a Goods and Services than meets the eye. The plan is being described as a reform and the word reform suggests a change for the better. Without a doubt the electorate is well aware of the Federal Government’s planned skulduggery. The Liberal Party plans to con the state governments into surrender the few taxing powers that they still possess. By doing so they will then become completely subservient to the “golden triangle”, Sydney Melbourne and Canberra. Eventually our state governments and local authorities as we known them will cease to exist, they will wither and die on the vine having been starved of funds by the Commonwealth Government. Hopefully there is still time for the people of Queensland to wake up to the danger. At the moment it would appear that the only defender of the anti goods and services movement is Pauline Hanson’s One Nation Party. Hopefully she and her colleagues will receive the required support at the forth coming Federal election. Howard and his cronies must be stopped. We must be forever mindful that the Labor Party and the Democrats are no different to the Liberal Party for they too cannot be trusted. Viva Pauline Hanson.

Yours,

V. (Vic.) B. Cominos

Subject: Some of Beazley's Lies...............

Beazley now questions One Nations party structure!! It seems pretty obvious to me that the party structure was deliberately designed to address any potential infiltration of extremists, and it has been very successful.

It has made sure that the mud thrown by the media and other political parties does not stick.

It also stops the distortion of democracy through ethnic branch stacking, that cornerstone of Labor Party operation. If you check your archives, I'm sure that you will find a reference to some Chinese lobby group suggesting that 30000 Chinese join One Nation and take over control of the party. This was reported less than 12 months ago. I suppose they thought: 'why not try this strategy, after all it works with the Labor party'.

The media wants it both ways - accuse One Nation of allowing extremists to infiltrate the party on one hand, and then criticise the very control mechanism which prevents this from happening on the other!

I hope that you can convince a One Nation party MP or official to expose this hypocrisy while they have all the media attention on their conference this weekend.

Regards
Gweilo

PS Could you pass on a copy of "The Media's Prayer" to One Nation MPs during their 'handling of the media' session? I've been getting heaps of feedback on this since posting it on the aus.politics newsgroup. The politically correct intellectuals don't like being attacked on their own turf. The even given me some back-handed compliments - eg "You are obviously educated enough to know better than pander to One Nation. Circulating this type of opinion is dangerous. Obviously your education was wasted on you."

There you have it - I'm afraid I'm now a class traitor. Imagine somebody with a honours university degree supporting One Nation! What a disgrace!

Media Prayer Reproduced Below:

Oh eminent ones, pray hear the plea of your unworthy subjects, for there is insurrection within your domain. There are those within our midst who would not only dare to question your divine supremacy, but even challenge the infallibility of the holy trinity of Murdoch, Packer and Fairfax!

Have mercy on their simplistic souls, for they are guilty of crimes against the media, in both thought and speech. These pagans surely know not what they do, and are no doubt fully deserving of the bestowal of your most fearsome wrath. They have forgotten their place. The disobedient refuse to worship your duly ordained idols, and even have the audacity to seek their own alternate destiny, straying from the path that you have chosen for us all.

Take pity on us, for by definition we cannot all attain membership of your elite, and we lack your ability to be "just that little bit more superior". We do not share your exceptional intelligence; on the contrary, we are afflicted with mere common sense, which makes us vulnerable to the ideas of the heretic.

The elitist bible tells us that a policy cannot be any good if just anybody can understand it, true wisdom can only be uncovered by the creative interpretation of authorised elites. This explains many esoteric fundamentals in contemporary Orwellia, such as:

· High immigration decreases the supply of available work and increases the demand for government welfare, but the tremendous benefits to the national economy are so obvious that they need no explanation.

· The granting of special privileges to the chosen ones of the appropriate race is a cornerstone of true racial equality, and any suggestion to treat all races the same is undeniable evidence of the most abhorrent racism. After all, there can be no doubt that some of us are more equal than others.

· Assets are bad, debts are good. Orwellia can show the world how smart we are by offloading our assets onto foreigners, and gaining valuable debt leveraging opportunities in return.

Yet still the heretic attracts us with her siren song! Oh defenders of the elitist faith, we beseech you to deem us worthy, and impart thy wisdom unto us! Please explain why you preach the sanctity of tolerance and diversity, but do not tolerate any diversity of political opinion.

Please practise your wizardry, your media magic, your polished presentations, and help us celebrate the triumph of image over substance, according to the rites of contemporary journalism. You generously provide our opiate, so necessary to overcome our daily hallucinations of decline, despair and decay. Please take our realities away eminent ones, cure and comfort us, tell us again how good we have got it and how lucky we really are.

We fear that the communication links from your ivory tower are damaged beyond repair, for you speak in unintelligible tongues and your listening devices were discarded long ago. In more enlightened times this did not matter, as you could dismiss our concerns without spilling a drop of Chardonnay. But now your edict to "Just shut up and pay your taxes, we will tell you what to think" just doesn’t have the same appeal that it used to.

You promise to respond to the heresy and not continue to persecute the heretic, but we have waited in vain. The heretic speaks against foreign control, and you respond to foreign investment. The heretic talks of multiculturalism, yet you defend multiracialism. The heretic discusses Australian culture and a proud heritage, but you only hear "meat and two veg" and an inherited historical guilt. Despite your most almighty inquisitions, the heretic continues to confront you, and will not repent.

Our people are tasting the forbidden fruit of independent thought. They are not accepting their penance, and they now actually believe that their opinions matter. The daily two minute hate sessions against the heretic are not working. Instead of ridiculing the heretic as a populist (always pronounced with a sneer), the people are celebrating her as a representative with voices of relief. The sneers are now reserved for those few who are still heard to say: "It must be true, I read it in a newspaper".

The people don’t fear change as much as more of the same. And as someone once said, "It’s time".

Subject: intellectual prostitution

Last Tuesday, 23/6/98 the Australian ran a story under the heading: "Taxpayers face Au$4 million bill for One Nation" (note the globalist cringe in describing our currency as an 'Au dollar' instead of simply a 'dollar'). The journalist reported that One Nation's estimated 11% of primary support, if translated into votes nationally, would result in about $4 million of taxpayer-provided subsidies going to the party.

So what? If the One Nation party is successful at the polls it is surely as much entitled to collect its proper share of the publicly provided spoils as are any other parties. Contrary to the inference in the headline, the tax-payer does not face a single cent EXTRA in costs for One Nation's success. The cake is the same size. It is just a matter of how it is divvyed up. But as if the truth would ever get in the way of tamed, in-house, ethically-challenged 'journalists'.

Subject: expose the scam

I think you need to take another look. Aborigines are making a concerted attempt to deceive even more Australians by diversifying into different groups. One nation really needs to sprout elsewhere as well as one nation to survive. New organisations need to be formed under totally different names and with different leaders than Pauline Hanson. Aborigines are winning over there views through hard work and deception and are covering all the bases. You need to do the same and better to get the truth through the well laid mist.

Pauline Hanson the name causes insane reactions in some people opposed to her views

Also you need to make some lines of alignment with one of the major parties if you hope to expand. I support the stopping of aboriginal land rights. It is a con and a scam to make money, instant millionaires and to form aborigine corporations. However aborigines have the same rights as the rest of us, they don't have the right to exclusive privileges in a moral sense. Why do the rest of us have to work for our piece of land. It is unfair and Aborigine rights to further land discriminates against white people. they can get it for nothing we cannot. Really your best bet is to align with the liberals as you lack experience and knowledge in the many other areas of politics. Try and organise some new websites with a different name and expose the opportunistic cunning aborigines, but don't deny aborigines the same rights as the rest of us. Aborigines are very determined to get their way, because basically they could not care less what we white people think . But I am angry at what they have done

1) they claim that their birthright is greater than ours. My children have just as much right to Australia as they do. Of course the aborigines disagree
2) they have divided Australia by sticking there finger at our flag and creating their own
3) they have invalidated and deceived most white Australia into thinking and feeling that they have done something wrong. WE HAVEN'T
4) Basically they seek the easy way for themselves to riches land and wealth. and they use white Australia to do it

They have some very clever fullblooded aboriginal nationalists and some very cunning halfcast and quarter cast con men.

Re Hanson last on how to vote cards

The Right Honourable Prime Minister;

Dear sir,

i have always been a liberal voter, and indeed a member of the liberal party. I am writing to respond to your belief that one nation should be put last on a ballot paper. Sir, i believe this to be a mistake. Whilst her success in Queensland may seem to be at the expense of the liberal party, it must be seen in context as an expression of the deep scepticism Australians are now feeling with regard to the Aboriginal welfare industry. Reconciliation is a good thing, but to reconcile at the expense of an equal society is not. For too long we have created a system of indigenous and non-indigenous rights which only serves to deepen divides in our society. Ms Hanson is an expression of the angst and annoyance that average Australians feel towards this. The labor party, our true opposition has, as you well know, always been the great proponent of this division. It is they who seek to marginalise the believes of rural Australia and create a reconciliation based on reversed racism. The labor party is the alternate government, and this is evidenced in Queensland. Mr Borbidge's refusal to enter a coalition with one nation has led to a labor run state. Is this what we want? Will we allow the labor party through lie, innuendo and slander to push the legitimate concerns of Australians, heretofore regarded as the backbone of the country, into political oblivion.

Mr Howard, look to a conservative future for Australia, an economically viable future. Another term of Labor abuse of the country can do no good. Please recognise that conservative opinions must unite to prevent more of the mistakes and mismanagement that we have seen from the labor party. Labor is the natural choice for last spot on the ballot, it always has been. Pauline Hanson is expressing opinions that you yourself have publicly expressed in years gone past, why now do you seek to resile from what you have expounded?

We have been scared for the last 10 years to speak against positive discrimination, scared of being labelled "racist" and marginalised. Hanson has broken that fetter, why will you act to refetter the Australian people? It is undeniable that racism is a sickness, that should not be tolerated. But Mr Howard, to seek enquiry into the Aboriginal welfare industry, and to raise questions as to our immigration policies is not racism, it is allowing the Australian voters to see how the system works. remember, these voters are the ones that hold the real power to enfranchise or disenfranchise a government.

Mr Howard, for the sake of the Liberal Party, for the sake of conservative values, and for the sake of Australia, please refuse to bow to the whims of the politically correct and attempt to silence a voice expressing legitimate concern. She, sir, has a right to an opinion, and sir, it is an opinion held by many in your own party. Mr Howard, i believe that you can be one of Australia's best and most sensible leaders. Please exhibit this, please relegate Mr Beazley and Mr Evans and Ms Kernot to the place where they belong. The opposition benches.

..And how about the NSW Liberals?? They still don't understand that Aussie voters have had enough. They treat us with so much contempt that one of them turned up to carry out his duties while he was as "pissed as a cricket". Of course all the other elected spongers and parasites just laughed at him.

I wonder what excuse they will use when One Nation kicks their butt in NSW?
