One Nation strikes back

One Nation's success in the New South Wales election was all about two things.

The popularity of Pauline Hanson in the bush and, more importantly, the issues which she talks to people about. Namely,

but of course the major parties are so tied up with their big business partners that they cannot see the wood for the trees. These are exciting times in Australian politics because the Liberal Party are starting to become irrelevant in the political arena and the growing strength of the National Party as the Coalition partner will see more equity coming back to the bush.

With more equity will come the realisation that One Nation is right and "populist" views gaining their correct place in replacing the executive ruling our destiny.

One of our most important targets has got to be the concentration of our media in too few hands. Another broadside was shot across the bows of top-flight politicians last night on the disreputable 60 Minutes program.

Days after the Packer family had set out their agenda for the media ownership law changes Keating was once again vilified in a very public display of media power. Now, I personally find Keating extremely distasteful, but Channel 9 knew about his piggery dealings back in 1995 and did nothing.

The move against Keating right now is nothing more than a very clear threat to the Coalition MPs that if they don't play Packer's ball they can expect the same - and they will get it. These major parties created the beast it will take One Nation and other independents to destroy it because career politicians are gutless wonders.

Shondra Briton provides a personal perspective at the booths. Here is an extract:

When a man approached me and told me that everything Pauline has ever said is right, and that the vilification of her by the media is disgusting.... What’s so funny about that? He was handing out HTV’s for the Liberal Party. An ALP scrutineer asked for a One Nation membership application form... He claimed some of his friends were interested in joining too.

Courier-Mail proves its bias yet again

Yesterday Channel 9's Sunday program followed up a report last month exposing Queensland's Shreddergate scandal. The Courier-Mail at the time jumped up and down beating its unethical little breast and pompously announcing that it had been instrumental in getting the Heiner fiasco exposed.

Strike one for dishonesty... The University of Queensland's newspaper, The Queensland Independent wrote in 1997:

And the media.

Apart from Drena Parrington and The Gold Coast Bulletin, the Maryborough Chronicle and at earlier times Chris Griffith of the Sunday Mail, where have the media been?

The answer to that question is quite disturbing.

Of course the reason for The Courier-Mail cover up is quite obvious. The Labor party's credibility was on trial over Shreddergate - and the paper, full of ex-Labor party media advisers, conspired to hide the truth - which it did. Making little squeaky noises skirting around the edges when the whistleblower forced some related issue into the media over the last ten years. Nothing more... and the squeak was soon oiled and put to bed at the cost of public accountability.

Strike two for bias...

Then yesterday, blow me down, the Sunday program had another bite at Shreddergate. Getting very specific in an interview with Labor State Premier following revelations that a young Aboriginal boy had committed suicide  in December last year at the John Oxley Youth Centre using the very grills that the shredded 1989 Heiner report had referred to.

The implication of the report was that if the report had been allowed to proceed the grills would have been dealt with and this young Aboriginal would still be alive today.

When confronted with this evidence Premier Peter Beattie made this most astonishing assumption after it was made quite clear that the shredding had been kept outside the brief given to the Forde inquiry.

Reporter, "Why don't you get to the truth of what happened though?"

Beattie, "Because..."

Reporter, "Shouldn't we go right back and find out?"

Beattie, "Yes, yes, you're dead right, you bet"

Reporter, "Well set up an inquiry and find out, what, why and when..."

Beattie, "Yes, you're dead right..."

Reporter, "Set up an inquiry and ask your ministers what they knew... and why they shredded..."

Beattie, "You're dead right and that's why I established the Forde inquiry."

Reporter, "But that's not going to explain why those documents were shredded."

Beattie, "Yeah, but it's going to get to the heart of this."

Reporter, "But it's not going to explain if any of your Ministers broke the law"

Beattie, "Well, you see, what's important here."

Reporter, "Accountability, Honesty... Truth"

Beattie, "No, you know what's important here? Children. The abuse of children. Not some theatrical game that is played by the media or someone who wants to run a personality game. What's important here is the children."

No accountability, no honesty, no truth... in the words of Peter Beattie.

The Courier-Mail, one can only presume, through its silence on the issue supports this notion put forward by Beattie.

Strike three for lack of credibility....

Biggest Ever Anti-NATO Demonstrations Erupt Across the U.S., Overseas...

PHOENIX, Mar. 27 - The biggest ever demonstrations against NATO's bombing of Serbia erupted today across the U.S. Some 8,000 people marched from New York's Grand Central Station along the partially closed Fifth Avenue to the Union Square, where speaker after speaker denounced this Clinton administration's crime against humanity.

Demonstrations were also held today in Boston, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, Sacramento, Chicago, Phoenix, Cleveland... to mention only some American cities. Overseas, thousands of protesters also shouted anti-NATO slogans in Stuttgart, Germany, and in front of the U.S. consulate in Sydney, Australia.

Some 500 to 600 demonstrators vented their anger at Bill Clinton and the U.S. government in front of the Federal Building in downtown Phoenix this afternoon. It was the largest turnout ever for this small Serbian-American community in the U.S. southwest, probably representing at least one person per each household.

The Truth in Media editor, Bob Djurdjevic, told the crowd that Bill Clinton and his Secretary of Hate, Madeleine Albright, are the real war criminals who should be tried at the Hague War Crimes Tribunal. He also said that the Russian nationalist LDPR party has already signed up thousands of volunteers, from Moscow to Vladivostok, in just the first two days of its drive to help Serbia.

He also reminded the demonstrators that on this very day (March 27), 58 years ago, the Serbs demonstrators in Belgrade said "no" to Hitler. Whereupon, Winston Churchill remarked that, "Yugoslavia had found its soul."

"So it is profoundly ironic that we should be demonstrating today against the new Hitlers of the New World Order, like Bill Clinton," Djurdjevic said. Crews from several Phoenix TV stations recorded the event.

Djurdjevic's speech, delivered off the cuff, was frequently interrupted by enthusiastic demonstrators who shouted the slogans, such as "Drop Clinton, Not Bombs;" "Better Grave Than Slave" (also a slogan from the Mar. 27, 1941 demonstrations in Belgrade - see the photos), and others. Many of the Phoenix car and bus drivers, who happened to drive by the Federal Building this afternoon, also sounded their horns in support of the demonstrators.

The atmosphere was electric, at times resembling the noise at a world cup soccer match. But unlike some other demonstrations, such as that in Toronto two days ago (see our recent report about that), there was no violence. The Phoenix police and the FBI kept their watch, but they also kept their distance from the demonstrators.

In fact, as the TiM editor was leaving the scene, one of the Phoenix policemen warmly shook his hand, implying his personal support for the anti-NATO message which the protest had delivered.

Possum Bites Back: The F-117 Kill Confirmed - Djurdjevic

PHOENIX, Mar. 27 - The Serb Possum has bitten back. Even without resorting to its sophisticated air defense systems. More than once. "No less than five (NATO planes have been downed)," said the Yugoslav ambassador to the UN, at this evening's CNN Larry King Live show. The Truth in Media, for example, reported that an F-117 had been downed in Srem (a Serbian district stretching for about 50 miles west of Belgrade) last night, based on INDEPENDENT Serbian sources (see TiM GW Bulletin Day 3, Update 2, 3/16/99).

Well, now that's a fact. For the first time, the Serb Possum has decided to show today one of its claws to the world. The Belgrade TV broadcast tonight pictures of a burning wreckage of the world's most sophisticated military technology, the top secret, famed American F-117 Stealth Nighthawk fighter. Note that that was almost 24 hours BEFORE the CNN and the rest of the western media buzzards latched on to the BG TV feed, sending the Washington and NATO "lie and deny" spin masters into apoplexy.

Also for the first time since NATO's murderous assault on Serbia, a small, sovereign European country, NATO had "no comment" about the downing of the F-117. The F-117 is a $45 million pride and joy of the U.S. defense industry, the New World Order's death merchants. Yet tonight, the whole world could see this American death merchant's techno-wonder smouldering helplessly in a Srem farmer's muddy field.

Since NATO has been saying that the Serbs have not used their sophisticated anti-aircraft defenses, it must have been then a lowly Srem farmer, who mistook this $45 million Pentago Nighthawk for a local crow, and shot it out of the sky with his hunting rifle?

C'mong. Get real, Bill Clinton and your "Wag the Dog" crue. Not all Americans are braindead.

Nevertheless, our prayers go to the pilot of the F-117, whose destiny is not known at this moment. But the military experts have identified the downed NWO techno-wonder as one of the planes from a US Air Force squadron based in New Mexico, who took off on his mission from the NATO base in Aviano, Italy.

[A news update - 10:13PM EST: Suddenly, NATO has regained its speech. The "Lie and Deny" factory has just launched a new product. CNN has just reported that the pilot of the F-117 has been rescued. While we are happy that our prayers were answered, we STRONGLY urge you to reserve judgment about that, considering the "Wag the Dog" Washington personalities who are waging this war against the Serbs. So stand by for this "pilot" to be a Tom Cruise-look alike, hailed as an "American Hero."

Just as was Captain Scott O'Grady, shot down over Bosnia on June 2, 1995, being toasted by Bill Clinton. He even got to write a book, "Return with Honor," about his "experiences" - to "prove" it!

Sure thing. Except that this book would rate with the best of the fiction movies put out by Hollywood.

A funny thing, too... O'Grady suddenly retired from the military after writing such a "moving story." Gee - hero for just a day! On the other hand, that was probably a sensible move, considering the fate of Vince Foster or Ron Brown.

Provided, of course, that O'Grady was what the Pentagon had made him out to be. For, he may have been just some out-of-work "Dustin Hoffman," on a contract to the Pentagon "PR" brigade.

Naturally, the "lie and deny" Washington/NATO spin masters would dismiss such notions as "conspiracy theories." We leave it to you, however, the TiM readers, to use your own judgment about that].

At Least 12 NATO Planes Downed?; British SAS Rescue Helicopter Downed Near Cacak?

PHOENIX, Mar. 27 - Our Serbian sources report that the number of the NATO planes downed in the last three days is "at least 16," according to the Yugoslav Army (YA) source. The YA spokesperson said that they had 12 wrecks of the shot-down NATO planes in their possession, and that four NATO pilots were being kept as prisoners of war.

Two of those pilots are reported to be Germans, who ironically became the first casualties of NATO's assault on Serbia, being shot down over Mount Jastrebac (as we had reported earlier - check our Web site for details). Our sources report that the Serb villagers hunted down the pilots, captured them, and turned them over to the Serbian authorities.

Some of the British SAS soldiers (the equivalent of our "Special Forces") weren't so lucky. A British helicopter with 12 SAS soldiers on board, coming in to try to rescue a down pilot near Cacak, a central Serbia town, was shot down. There were no survivors, our sources report.

"This is not a Serbian Government media war propaganda," our source emphasized. "This is based on my own sources in the area."

Degrading food

Federal and State health ministers will this week consider a major weakening of of compulsory labelling for genetically modified food.

The ministers will hold a teleconference to consider recommendations from the Australia and New Zealand Food Authority for the laws to be watererd down.

In confidential documents obtained by by the Sun-Herald, ANZFA warns that giving consumers too much information could result in them spurning modified food. This would have serious implications because of the "already considerable investment in this technology by both government and the agri-food sector".

In a brief to health ministers, ANZFA recommends that it be given power to draw up a list of foods exempt from labelling, including common ingredients in processed food.

It also recommends that food should only have to be labelled if manufacturers are sure it has GN content. If suppliers have not drawn attention to GM components, no labels would be needed.

The proposals are set out in a submission to the ministers from ANZFA general manager Ian Lindenmayer. He asked the ministers to consider the proposals urgently and adopt them at a teleconference this week, which would allow them to be put into effect from the start of the new GM labelling standard on May 13.

The Federal Opposition has attacked the ANZFA proposals and called on the Government to resist its plan.

Shadow consumer affairs minister Lindsay Tanner said if the Government gave in it would be betraying consumers who wanted to know what they were eating.

"People want health and safety issues regulated by Government, not dictated by big business," Mr Tanner said.

The teleconference of health ministers will also consider what to do about products already on sale in Australia which contain GM foods.

Political police will hack into computers

By Mike Head
27 March 1999

Australia's political intelligence agency will be able to hack into computers via the Internet, plant tracking devices on people and obtain emergency warrants to enter and search premises under a new Bill introduced by the Howard government on Thursday. These provisions have serious implications for free speech and the right to political discussion, particularly in relation to use of the Internet.

The Australian Security Intelligence Organisation (ASIO) Legislation Amendment Bill contains other sweeping provisions as well. Introduced with little publicity, it provides for the greatest expansion of ASIO's power since the ASIO Act was first passed in 1979. For the first time, ASIO--the federal government's internal political spy force--will have authority to collect foreign intelligence, intercept articles delivered by private couriers as well as Australia Post, and access taxation files.

Some of these measures were first mooted last year, when a leaked Australian Federal Police document indicated that the government was planning to use the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games as a pretext for boosting ASIO. The revamped Bill makes it plain that ASIO's capacity to conduct pervasive surveillance will be permanent, not specifically tied to the Olympics.

In the name of protecting the "national security", the Bill gives ASIO far-reaching powers to retrieve and alter information from any computer or computer system, including an Internet service provider, regardless of any state or federal law.

ASIO officers will be empowered to seize data obtained by "remote access"--commonly referred to as hacking--or by direct physical access to a computer system under an entry and search warrant. They will be authorised to crack and modify password control systems and encryption programs, opening the way for the sabotage of web sites, e-mail facilities and internal communications systems.

The explanatory memorandum circulated by Attorney-General Daryl Williams states: "The computer provisions permit the Minister to authorise ASIO to add, delete or alter data for the purpose of gaining access to data in a target computer and to do things that are reasonably necessary to conceal that anything has been done under the warrant. This would include modifying access control and encryption systems."

Since it was formed by a Labor government in 1949 to crackdown on post-war political unrest, ASIO has been notorious for harassment, dirty tricks and frame-ups directed against government opponents and political dissidents, including socialists. Official hackers will now be in a position to extend these activities via the Internet.

In an unprecedented move, ASIO will be authorised to install tracking devices--electronic beacons or even chemical substances--on people or in vehicles, with or without consent. This opens the possibility of ASIO maintaining around-the-clock surveillance of targetted individuals.

Other provisions give the ASIO Director General or his delegated officers power to issue warrants--whether for search and entry, tracking devices or "remote access" to computers--in so-called emergencies. In the past the Minister had to approve ASIO search warrants. The new emergency warrants will last up to 48 hours.

In addition, warrants issued by the Minister will last for an extended period--28 days, instead of the current 7 days. No other policing agency can obtain such open-ended warrants. Williams commented: "Unlike law enforcement agencies, most search warrants issued to ASIO need to be executed covertly and it may take time for a suitable opportunity to arise."

No one's banking and tax records will anymore be free from political monitoring. ASIO will be able to request and use individual and business taxation and financial transactions data from the Tax Office and the Australian Transaction Reports and Analysis Centre.

Williams' memorandum reveals that the Sydney Olympics and the subsequent Paralympics are likely to see a great many people placed under federal and state surveillance. The Bill will enable ASIO to provide security assessments directly to state authorities, such as the political police of Special Branch (now known as the Protective Security Group in New South Wales), rather than via the federal police. According to Williams, the change will "simplify administrative processes in the expectation that State authorities responsible for security arrangements for the Sydney 2000 Games and Paralympics are likely to request large numbers of security assessments".

Being able to gather foreign intelligence within Australia will widen ASIO's operations considerably. Until now, it has only been authorised to do so under special warrants. Foreign intelligence has been the province of the Australian Secret Intelligence Service (ASIS), the Office of National Assessments (ONA), the military's Joint Intelligence Office (JIO) and the electronic eavesdropping agency, the Defence Signals Directorate (DSD).

The penalties for obstructing or interfering with the operations of ASIO will also be strengthened, by giving courts the power to impose heavy fines as well as jail terms of up to five years.

By seeking unfettered power to crack open and modify e-mail encryption codes, the Australian government is going further than its British and American counterparts. They have sought to use export controls to prevent the distribution of encryption software, unless national intelligence agencies were able to read the codes. Some companies, including the makers of Pretty Good Privacy (PGP), have refused to comply on the grounds that the First Amendment of the US Constitution outlaws restrictions on free speech.

The actions of the Howard government are on a par with those of the most repressive regimes in the world, which have sought to restrict access to the Internet or develop new techniques to identify and monitor users of the World Wide Web. Among them is the Stalinist government in China, which recently placed an Internet provider on trial for "inciting the subversion of state authority" for supplying Internet addresses to a US-based dissident publication.

ASIO already has the power to bug phones, instal listening devices in offices and homes, intercept telecommunications and open people's mail. The new bid to monitor Internet use underscores the political establishment's unabiding fear of free and democratic discussion on an international scale.

NSW Election Results

Scott,

While Barwon achieved 22.1% for ON, the following results were just as interesting.

This will make interesting interpretation for the coming State Elections in WA in 12 months time. I suspect a few people in the upper house in WA will be getting nervous!

Regards
Steve B

NSW Election

Dear Scott,

Congratulations David Oldfield on winning ON a Senate seat. Will be keeping fingers crossed for No 2.

Thanks to all the candidates and their support crew for their efforts. ON is holding its own with a strong and committed core of support. Keep on chipping away.

Thanks for the effort NSW ON,

Steve Milson (QLD)

PS Scott , an interesting attachment is enclosed. I liked the editorial in Sunday's @notd, a loosely knit coalition of independents with basic ON objectives and ideologies and sharing resources is good thinking. I hope something positive comes from it. I enjoyed the debate between Graham Strachan and Gerard Jackson of the New Australian . Jackson has many good articles on his site even if I think his economic theories tend to omit people from the equation. Strachan a winner by KO in the 10th round. A good healthy debate.

What a success

Here we are all with big hangovers after last nights glorious ONE NATION victory in the NSW election.

What a night, and look how David Oldfield got it right!!! What a landslide! David has proved himself to be the ONE! Without him the party would have failed miserably. We are SO LUCKY to have him as the leader of the party....the way he wheeled Pauline out just for the photos and handled all the tricky interviews was a stroke of GENIUS! We believe this is the way to go from now on...David MUST take FULL CONTROL of the party...the voters are ready. Pauline can still be involved, as long as she doesnt comment or put her foot in it. The other David is also a brilliant administrator and we feel he should be paid more, say $200,000 and have a lifetime position on the board. We need to look after our executive more.

Last night we decided that the stunning result was due to the contribution of the people working with the Sydney executive, so it was planned that the way the party operates should change. Basically we dont want any interference from the country members anymore. By that we mean that policy should now be decided wholly and soley by the two Davids...after all they now have the runs on the board. David is very firm on this and we intend to support him for a FULL TAKEOVER of the party machine. David wants to broaden party policy and get away from the REDNECK syndrome which holds him back from widespread community support. He see`s the Queensland and other country members as the footsoldiers, recruiting and raising revenue while policy and planning are strictly Sydney executive functions.

With Davids brilliance and strategic planning we plan to be a national force within 3 years. So your task is now well defined, to recruit, recruit and recruit. Please also report any deviance from members who question party policy and we will remove them from the organization. At last the REAL ONE NATION has emerged, with the RIGHTFULL LEADERS IN CONTROL. The way ahead is clear, and once we officially put in the new leadership structure NOTHING will stop us.

Mary McKinnon

Wouldn't you think that they had made fools of themselves enough times already?

Are they immune from embarressment and shame?

"I think we'll have our best-ever result in the lower house."
Meg Lees Federal Leader of Australian Democrats, 14th March 1999

"Nothing, however, is likely to stave off a disappointing result for Mr Oldfield and 74 other One Nation candidates in the NSW election. The moment for Mrs Pauline Hanson and Mr David Oldfield, it seems, has passed."
Greg Roberts, "Journalist" from The Australian, 27th February 1999

"FROM its first fierce stirrings in Ipswich to this week's final curtain, the public career of Pauline Hanson, the would-be saviour of everyday Australia, consumed precisely three startling, heart-stopping years. But in the first days of February 1999, both Ms Hanson and her One Nation party are in tatters. How can a political tide first swell, then dissipate, with such hallucinatory swiftness? The brisk fragmentation of her party, and its seeming popular eclipse, comes as no surprise if the first moments of her rise are remembered: for those who are raised up by popular emotions are also, in the fullness of time, undone by them. "
NICOLAS ROTHWELL "The Australian" 6th February, 1999

Happy

I'm very happy with the result. We've got Heather Hill in the Senate until 2005, and David Oldfield in the NSW Upper House until 2007. We'll add to the totals as elections come and go.

What next, Kerry and Rupert?

At first, they tried "outrage". Then they tried to gag Pauline. They conspired to stop her public meetings. They distorted the truth and published deceit. They vilified her and tried to imtimidate her with their campaign of hatred. They condemned her policies before they were even released. They sent their night creatures to disrupt her meetings, to chant their mindless slogans, to disrupt the democratic process, to launch rotten eggs and urine filled condoms at old age pensioners. They even bashed those who attended the meetings, and made sure that every lunatic knew where they lived by publishing names and addresses.

But One Nation won eleven seats in the Queensland State election.

Then they tried fear and guilt. They eyes of the world are on us. We will become an international pariah, our tourist and education industries will perish, our economy will nosedive, One Nation will be the ruin of us all! But they have cried wolf too often, and the public wasn't paying attention. So next they tried ridicule, slander and sleaze.

Digging for dirt - Pauline's divorce, unhappy children, romantic links with David Oldfield. And how could anybody possibly vote for somebody who doesn't know what xenophobic means?

The pulled their strings on their Labour/Coalition puppets to ensure that One Nation was starved of preferences.

But One Nation polled a million primary votes in the federal election.

So they targeted the party itself. They infiltrated the headquarters with white ants, but the attempted leadership coup was thwarted by the party structure. So they said it wasn't democratic. They talked up party disunity, and they talked down any hope of future success.

Then they tried ignoring One Nation althogether - it's now irrelevent they proclaimed. Newspolls showing 2% support were published to sap the enthusiasm of the faithful: Push-polling in its most subliminal and devious form.

But One Nation polled strongly again, in the NSW State election.

Somehow the support was underestimated by over 20% in some areas. That's 1000%. Was that within your margin of error Rupert?

And when I watched Kerry's Channel Nine News tonight, there was still no mention of One Nation's success. I wonder if they would have found the time if the votes were at the 2% level?

What have you got in store for us now Kerry & Rupert?

Subject: 'The Bigger they are the Harder they fall....'

....And 'the smaller they are...the longer they last'. The Good Book says that 'the love of money is the root of all evil'. Is that what is _really_ behind the current conflict in Kosovo? Is the holier-than-thou self-righteous attitude of Blinky Bill Clinton and the 'intellectual elites' just a subterfuge to conceal wotz really at stake: the old hip-pocket nerve? @notd readers may not agree with everything here (http://www.ddc.net/ygg/new/clips.htm.), but there are some interesting points about small countries and 'big empires'. Could any of this apply to Oz?[!]

@notd

Very pleased to see your recent coverage of political correctness in action. The main hysterical opposition to One Nation is caused by this PC. which of course originated overseas and was imported here.

Political Correctness and multiculturalism both belong together and rely entirely on emotion and promoting mass hysteria to influence people. No effort is made to calmly reason or debate these causes, indead Voltaires adeas seem to have been made obsolete and defeated by this hysterical censorship

I fear that the renaissence and the age of reason may be coming to an end. The politically correct elites are taking us back to the dark ages.

Mainstream 'pollies' talk in PC code and Pull Their Punches!

This report from the ABC's NSW99 election 'site':

>Queensland-based National Party Senator Ron Boswell says he is
>surprised at the level of support for One Nation.

Why should you be surprised you jerk? One Nation polled nearly 10% at the Federal election despite all the dirty tricks you and yr Laboral mates engaged in, and despite the entire electorate being distracted by the GST red herring. Herez what you _should_ be surprised at: the fact that yr traitorous little cockroach of a party still _exists_.

>He says it is terribly disappointing that anyone in rural New South
>Wales could have supported One Nation.

I say: it is terribly disappointing that anyone in rural New South Wales could have supported the Nationals.

>"I don't think it's a force, I think it's an abrogation," he said.

I don't think the Nationals are a legitimate political party representing their constituents. I think they are an abomination.

>"I think whoever set the quotas at 4.7 to get into the Upper House
>should be thoroughly ashamed of themselves for doing it."

Too late....the horse has bolted! Vicious preference blackouts not good enough for you? Why don't we try a couple of gerrymanders while we're at it? When are you going to wake up _YOU CLOWN_: you(and yr bullshit party with its: economic irrationalism, gutless kowtowing to the UN anti-gun lobby and the media, bootlicking of the IMF, WTO, World Bank and other globalist scumbags) is _F_I_N_I_S_H_E_D_. Bang that where it fits, you blonk!

Meanwhile the Fat Man, Kimbo Boozey, is crowing that Labor did "very, very well" in the 'bush'. The use of so many adjectives should automatically set alarm bells ringing. If Labor did well, it's only because of a _repeat_ performance of the Federal election: One Nation preferencing against the incumbents. Labor has, once again, ridden in on the back of the One Nation horse(with an average vote of 15+% in rural and regional areas and 7+% statewide, this is not an invalid claim)...and then proceeds to kick it! Fine!

Boozey, Boswell, Timid Tim and the whole lousy Laboral crew..... GET THEE HENCE to where you rightly belong:The Dustbin of History!

cheers!
