Update on Heather's High Court case

Here is an extract:

Today, Senator Elect Heather hill has unsuccessfully attempted to throw out Mr Hong's Petition in the High Court. Mr Hong has organised the petition against Heather Hill's election to the senate in last year's October 3 federal election.

This ruling represents the first steps in the challenges against the Hong backed Petition trying to prevent Heather Hill entering the senate. Mrs Hill still has several other strings to her bow. "Although I would have obviously have preferred the decision to go the other way, it is encouraging that Chief Justice Gleeson has awarded costs against Mr Hong's consortium," Heather Hill said.

The challenge against the Petition in the High Court now moves forward to await a sitting of the Full Bench of the High Court to determine several points of law presented by Mrs Hill's legal team. It is expected that the High Court will sit on this matter on 11th and 12th of May.

Courier Mail - "Web of Racism traps One Nation"

Well folks I made it on the front cover of The Courier- Mail this morning - under the above headline. Yesterday I was interviewed by Jeff Sommerfeld about this page.

The letter submitted by Do Peng on Thursday with its anti-white comments went unreported despite the fact that this Murdoch paper watch the @notd.

The reporter Jeff Sommerfeld broke three "rules of engagement" with me. (He said "I will put my name to the finished article.") They are:

This is what the article says:

One Nation webmaster Scott Balson's Internet site contained anti-Sesmitic (sic) references yesterday despite his protests that he was not a racist.

In a letter to The Courier-Mail this week Mr Balson said he was not "anti-semitic" and criticised an article which said his website "often contained overt as well as ambiguous anti-Jewish material".

But Mr Balson's web site yesterday contained a letter from a person called David Morgan who used anti-semitic references to attack an anti-whites letter published earlier in the week on Mr Balson's web site.

The comments included: "It is a shame that Jew boy Einstein didn't think about that when he gave his discovery to the Jew boys controlling the American government."

Mr Morgan's letter also included anti-Asian comments which Mr Balson said were in a result of inflammatory remarks in an anti-white letter by a person called Do Peng.

"You see do peng (sic) that would suit me great because I think my own race and it's (sic) culture are something worth preserving and we don't do that by letting our blonde and white skinned daughters mix with chinky chinks now do we," Mr Morgan's letter said.

After being approached by The Courier Mail yesterday about the material on his website which referred to "Jew boys controlling the American government", Mr Balson removed the material from his web site.

"I understand that it could upset certain people, and on that basis I was happy to remove it," Mr Balson said.

"I am certainly not anti-semitic."

Australian Democrats Senator John Woodley said the Government should commence a prosecution against Mr Balson under the Racial Vilification Act.

"It is obvious that racists and anti-semites like this person, find a congenial home for their race hatred on their website," he said.

A national Jewish anti-racism group called on the Federal Government to extend regulations limiting offensive material on the Internet to include racism.

Executive Director of the B'nai B'rith Anti Defamation commission, Danny Ben-Moshe, said Federal Communications Minister Senator Richard Alston's proposals to target pornography on the Internet should be extended to counter racism.

You may send letters to the Courier-Mail editor at this link.

The Courier-Mail article has made me question myself as to whether I am what I am accused of being - as a result I just become angry.

Angry because, "No I am not racist or anti-semitic. Yes I am passionately concerned about the rape of Australia."

This page is about vigorous debate and the removal of David Morgan's letter yesterday by me was the first time that I have felt I have had to censor this vigorous debate.

I did not see Morgan's comments in context of the vigorous debate as being overtly anti-semitic or racist. If we are scared to defend ourselves or respond (whatever our colour, whatever our religion) because of "Racial Vilification Laws" then we might as well pack up and go home.

I also find it interesting that there are thousands of comments and statements far worse that Morgan's on the net in Australia today and yet this paper gets singled out....

For the record my alleged "misdemeanour" reported on the front page was of more importance than:

I would be interested in your views.

Here is my reply to The Courier-Mail:

Dear Sir,

Your article "Web of racism traps One Nation" quotes senator John Woodley as saying that, "racists and anti-Semites, like this person" when referring to me.

I would like to ask the good senator on what basis he makes this bold public statement.

Is it "racist" or "anti-Semitic" to allow public debate over issues that genuinely concern people? Are we a society that has become so cloaked in political correctness that a vigorous debate over any issue has to be tempered with the censor's pen?

Whatever has happened to freedom of speech in this country?

Why is it that an Asian person can flaunt the failings of the "white race" without apparently fearing retribution? Is this a good foundation for a balanced debate or just a symptom of reverse-racism?

So many questions so few answers. However, I have one answer for Senator Woodley - I am not a racist nor am I anti-Semitic. I am a concerned Australian having a balanced debate about issues with other concerned Australians. Nothing more, nothing less - it is you, sir, who have raised the spectres of racism and anti-Semitism not I.

Class action by single fathers

Scott,

At last someone is taking a stand for Child Support paying fathers.

I myself am in the position of being a Child Support paying father and I have been quite mystified how the government and CSA arrive at there formula for payment. The whole system in fact stinks of bias and injustice. I feel that I am a good father who can provide a better quality of life for my child than the current situation. I have never been able to understand the decision making process of the family court in this country that basically says that all males are inadequate and unable to raise children. I have always felt that the custody and divorce laws in this country were written by women who hate men.

I feel that the party receiving the child support payment should be made to justify where they spend the child support money. As I understand the law, the money is to be used for the child as part of the non-custodial parents obligations. Currently I am sure that in the majority of cases the money is used to keep the custodial parent in their chosen lifestyle and is not spent on the needs of the children. I think this is ridiculous and should be changed quickly and the sooner the better.

Whilst it may seem a little far fetched, I think that every case should be looked at individually and not as per the standard letter of the law which dictates that things go by the way of the mother. Perhaps if the family court looked at the circumstances of the marriage failure and then took a moral stand and supported the person who was not the instigator of the breakdown. I know this may sound a little picky but not all marriage breakdowns are a result of the males failure to meet his obligations as a husband.

In all cases the custodial parent receives not only the Child Support payment but they receive Sole Parent pension and Child endowment payment, so in effect as a tax payer and child support payer we get hit twice through our tax and through our earnings. This equation seems to be heavily imbalanced againt the non-custodial parents, we are paying money to them once directly as well as indirectly via our tax.

The whole situation with Child Support is wrong, very wrong and should be addressed and quickly. It is no wonder that fathers go off the deep end and lose their minds and do silly things.

Just my thoughts, thanks for the opportunity to write.

Terry Mowles.

Privatisation

The Teachers Union must be given the Privatisation treatment once PHON is in power. Flog the lot off to Packer and Murdoch. That should wean them off the public tit quick smart. Those willing to join the Journos in obsequious obedience will get their reward; the rest might get a McJob in Disneyland - probably the only real education they will ever get.

STD's

Don't count on NSW Health as being the be-all/end-all authority on HIV and AIDS. I suggest you look to the British Medical journal "The Lancet", The Louis Pasteur Institute, Barry Smith's "Warning" books and also Brian Wilshire's "Fine Print" books for further information.

As for condoms...... Ansel as well as Durex have stated that their products are designed, manufactured and intended for the purpose of contraception ONLY. (The very resilient and tough virus strains of HIV are smaller than the naturally occurring holes in prophylactic rubber.)
