Introduction:This page is the index to the oldest on-line daily newspaper in Australia (complete archive available at red button link below). The newspaper was initially started by Scott Balson as a private record of daily events and as a summarised archive of headlines in Queensland's Courier-Mail. As ex-pat Australians from all over the world tuned-in it soon expanded into a wide-scale forum which questioned the reporting methods and ethics of the mainstream media. Months later Balson became the One Nation webmaster after he realised, through this on-line forum, that the major parties were working in the best interests of their big business sponsors and NOT in the interests of the average Aussie and the media talk crap. This on-line paper led to two best selling books by Balson. The first, Murder by Media, exposed the unethical and corrupt reporting methods of the Murdoch empire's flagship Courier-Mail. The second, Enemy of the State, details his speedy political arrest orchestrated by The Courier-Mail. He was found not guilty nine months after his arrest - the Magistrate expressing disgust in having to deal with such a contrived charge. |

Profiles of Columnists:
Scott Balson (right): Was Pauline Hanson's One Nation webmaster until November 1999. Balson edits the oldest on-line daily newspaper in Australia - the @notd (Australian National News of the Day). The @notd is attributed with playing a lead role in the exposing of the MAI in Australia in January 1998. He is the author of "Murder by Media, Death of Democracy in Australia" and "One Voice, Many Issues". He has just launched his new book "ENEMY OF THE STATE" which exposes his politically motivated arrest last year.
Graham Strachan: devotes his time to researching and writing books and articles on politics and philosophy. His first book was 'Economic Rationalism: a Disaster for Australia' (1997). Strachan's articles concentrate on the dangers of globalisation.
John Pasquarelli: Pasquarelli was Graeme Campbell's political adviser before he worked for the new Independent, Pauline Hanson. He was fired by Ms Hanson in late 1996 after a falling out and was temporarily replaced by David Thomas who was subsequently replaced by David Oldfield in 1997. Pasquarelli is the author of the book, "Pauline Hanson by the man who knows". His column looks at issues and how the minor parties must work together to take a stand against the major political power blocks (Laboral factions).
SS Wingate: our gossip columnist is always looking for the inside story. So if you have some goss that she could use here - send her an email. And, no, we will not reveal her identity... if you knew you would be really surprised!
Peter Myers: Peter Myers studied in a Catholic seminary, then gained degrees in Anthropology and Computing. Has been a teacher and computer programmer; now unemployed. Has three children with his Asian wife.
Jeremy Lee: Has written and spoken extensively since 1967, giving an average of 150 lectures annually. Has spoken across Canada (three separate tours), around New Zealand (thirteen separate tours), through Britain, borth northern and southern Ireland, and round Australia too often to count. Since 1991 has majored on the New World Order and related topics, producing five videos with sales no in the tens of thousands. Since 1997 has written two books, the first, What Will We Tell Our Children? Now in its fifth printing.
Jeremy Lee's web site with orders for books and tapes on-line.
Bruce Whiteside: The founder of the
Pauline Hanson
Support Movement. This movement started the "Hanson Phenomenon" and
launched Pauline
Hanson's One Nation. While Whiteside was ridiculed by both of Ms
Hanson's lieutenants, David Ettridge and David Oldfield, as a "nutter" his
insight and grasp of how the "people's movement" had been hijacked speaks
volumes about the vision of this remarkable man.
