Australian League of Rights meeting
27th (Sat) to 28th May 2000

Report by Scott Balson

Toowoomba - Venue: Highfield Cultural Centre

A perfect day greeted about one hundred participants in the ALR meeting. Those present had come from afar afield as Western Australia and South Australia.

The meeting was opened by ALR national President Betty Luks (below left) at 12.30 pm on Saturday. The meeting was chaired by Ian Rich (centre pic) and organised by Keith Fuchs (seated). The first speaker was Richard Wood LLB who spoke on the racket behind the Republic Referendum (image right below).

That evening a dinner was held in the hall. About 70 people attended the function. I sat with Nancy and Jeremy Lee and Judy Eklund.

On Sunday Tony Symonds (left) electoral representation and Ziema McDonnell, genetic engineering, spoke.

After morning tea I spoke about my first hand experiences with an unethical Murdoch media and a corrupt judiciary and Queensland State Labor government. Over 30 copies of my book "Enemy of the State" were sold following my address.

Michael Gray spoke about total tax reform before the lunch break.
