On-line research background to the book "Pauline, the Hanson Phenomenon" by Helen Dodd.

International:

Pasquarelli to sue over comments in the book "Pauline, the Hanson Phenomenon?"

We have been informed that "The amazing man behind Pauline Hanson", John Pasquarelli, is considering taking legal action against Boolarong Press, the author Helen Dodd, and Barbera Hazelton, for comments made on page 71 of the book in the section headed "Barbera the confidante and friend."

His action appears to be somewhat surprising in light of the comments in the link above - which goes to an article by The Age.

It appears Pasquarelli has never taken any action against that paper despite, as you will see, some quite remarkable claims being made about him.

Reading between the lines this appears to be another case of "Pasquarelli-publicity"...

International vs. Inequity

International vs. Inequity

Others argue that the internationalists have undermined their position by overselling the importance of international trade issues and the value of globalism.

Robert Lawrence and Robert Litan, two Brookings economists, recently chastised fellow internationalists peddling the idea that trade increases the number of jobs in the economy through increased exports. In fact, they wrote, trade has no impact on the number of jobs but does improve the quality of jobs.

Some economists, such as William C. Cline of the Institute for International Finance, have begun to acknowledge that they were probably wrong when they argued for years that trade and immigration have very little to do with depressing blue-collar wages and widening the gap between rich and poor. Now, Cline and others say that if the internationalists are to win the upper hand, they have to deal with the inequality that results from globalization -- coming up with realistic policies that transfer income from winners to losers.

In effect what they are saying is the rationalising of salaries and income once the internationalists dominate all businesses. Whether you work in Malaysia, Britain or Australia you will get the same wage for the same work. One thing you can accept right now that that income is going to be based on the lowest possible wage.

Subject: Comments on Australian News of the Day

Dear Editor,

Further to Tony Fitzpatrick's comments, here are two e-mailed letters to The Australian online which are guaranteed never to see the light of day:

>Your political correspondent John Short wrote (6 December): "John Howard locked his government into a high-risk strategy last night designed to deliver the seventh double-dissolution election in Australian history and the first in which race will be a central issue."

That's not true. The double dissolution will be about Australian LAND TITLE, not race. But you won't have that will you? It has to be about 'race'. One way or the other Australia is going to have 'racism', isn't it? I've been here 56 years and I've watched you media people manufacture it, piece by poisonous piece. It's time we had an election about media.<

And (one day later):

>There you go again: "PM in bid to defuse race election".

It will NOT be a 'race election' and you know it. It is about LAND TITLE for both black and white. Why do you persist with this obvious lie? Is it your policy to flog the 'race' angle and to promote race hate?

No wonder contempt for the major media grows daily in the community.

It's called 'beating your head etc.'

Graham Strachan.

Subject: Natural Allies

Dear Sir

When I spoke to you today I mentioned an article in the "Southern Ranger" which is the official publication of the Virginia Citizen's Militia. It relates to natural allies and I believe that it's contents are timely for and very applicable to the Australian crisis

"Not all groups will fight for the same thing or for the same reason. Many see their enemy in a different light. They may vigorously disagree with one another on many different issues. Still, if we are to have success, at least the temporary cooperation of every possible ally is to be desired. If we cannot settle the minor differences between us then we must ignore them. It is not necessary that we all fight for the same reason but it is necessary that we fight against the same enemy. It is equally important that we do not lose sight of our own worthy objectives or allow them to become debased by the selfish interests of others"

"The propaganda machine of our adversaries have been lumping Christians and True Patriots together with Neo-nazis, Aryan Nations, Ku Klux Klan and other "Hate Groups" quite successfully over the past several years. This is an outright LIE. Our "Natural Allies" include those who believe in Traditional Biblical Values, the Right to Life and the freedoms that the Founding Fathers of this nation intended for us all to enjoy! The hate groups believe in the oppression of or the destruction of certain elements of our population due to their race, ethnic background or religion and this cannot be tolerated. Hate is a powerful motivator but it will eat you alive eventually".

These inspirational words should be taken on board by all those in Australia and indeed anywhere in the world where the people are being betrayed by their respective Governments in the inevitably disastrous push for "globalisation".

Subject: Current Issues

It will be a interesting few months ahead, personally I'm not looking forward to a race based election. I'd certainly be worried if I was a real Aborigine. It could be a walk in for the libs, however in a country where the most popular Television show is Australia's Funniest Home Videos, anything could happen and probably will.

What is your opinion on all of this?

BTW your doing nicely on the hits to your page, I've just finished having a good look over Jim Duffields WWW page.

http://www.omen.net.au/~staffy/ He's only got 4141 hits since April 1996.

Shane

Personal trivia, from the global office:

Another beautiful day in paradise.

Have a good one.
