Well the papers in Queensland are back with a vengeance slamming Pauline Hanson with a two-fisted blow.

The first with a lead story about "Maverick (yes that's right) "Maverick" MP Pauline Hanson and her sacked political adviser John Pasquarelli "continuing to slug it out in one of Australia's great political stouches.

What bulls***. Pasquarelli is not an elected representative of anybody. He happened to be a high profile adviser - but all of a sudden, according to today's front page Sunday Mail he achieves superstar status - or at least that of an elected representative in Federal Parliament.

One wonders how many times Rupert Murdoch or even his young high-profile son have been sued by people and businesses over the years. Yet never a murmur in the Sunday or Courier Mail. (Both owned by the Murdoch's).

You don't have to look back very far to discover that Rupert is up for over US$100 million in "tax transgression" charges in Israel. Yet it hasn't even rated a classified listing in these great Queensland expose papers.

To try and belittle the elected representative for Oxley they state, and I quote:
'Ms Hanson yesterday laughed off suggestions that she sought the advice of a personal astrologer or futurologist to determine her political career.

"Who's telling you all this blasted rubbish? Where are you getting your information from?"

Asked if the rumours were truse, she said, "Oh God No!"

"I'm not talking to any futurologist or whoever. I haven't seen one at all. It's complete and utter rubbish.

"Hey listen, I'll tell you something, have you heard anyhting? Do you know what they told me?

"Have you got any information on what they said was going to happen to me, because I wouldn't mind knowing.

"I'm just curious to know what I was supposed to have been told. They might have some information too."'

Now believe it or not that this is the papers page one story.... and on page 27 we have a follow up with Ms Hanson allegedly being sued for non-payment of the development of a web site on the Internet.

Now I know something about this story because the journalist, Chris Grifffith, phoned me for a comment on Friday about web development costs.

I told him that without details about the web site I could not give any indication of price. The journalist refrained from telling me who the "celebrity" was at the time..... but now I know.

It appears that a Mr Broadhead was "verbally given approval" to do some work for Ms Hanson, and now is suing her for Au$1,280 in the Port Kembla court because she refused to pay and said that she didn't want the web site built in the first place.

I think that I will have to start subscribing to the Israeli newspapers to keep up to date with their progress or maybe just check out a couple of interesting web sites like the Unauthorised Information page on Rupert Murdoch.

It appears that the Hanson "racist disease" is spreading. But let me qualify that - that is according to mainstream media here in Australia.

According to today's News Limited paper, the Sunday Mail, "Asian immigration and multiculturalism were given a slap in the face by ordinary voters in South Australia yesterday with overwhelming support for Port Lincoln's outspoken Mayor Peter Davis."

Nine councillors quit earlier this year because of Davis's views on Asian immigration and multiculturalism. All nine stood for re-election but only four were re-elected - and three of these were guaranteed a spot because of the small field.

Now I know that Australians aren't racist so it says something about the reporting that goes on in this country.... and I do wonder what qualifies people to be "ordinary" voters?

Political:

On the Queensland State scene a new web site carrying the State Parliament proceedings is to be launched soon.

All proceedings in the Hansard from February 1990 would be available on the Internet. But please note the page is not live yet.... just promoted!

The book of Crazy Australian Web Pages

The above on-line book has been launched.. keep up to date with Charles and Rev Cedric Mannington, the missionary bot, crazy classifieds and the Australian Legal System.

Another day in the global office... beautiful outside.
