International:

A small fall in foreign debt led Federal Treasurer, Ralph Willis, to claim that Australia was in no danger of returning to the debt blow-out days.

Yesterday was another hot one with the temperature reaching 33 degrees C. This morning Viv took another early morning drive to the airport to pick-up her elder daughter Kirsty - who flew in from Perth, Western Australia.
