National Breast Cancer Centre Home Page (NBCC)
This extremely informative site on breast cancer is overviewed
by the NBCC with a great depth of background information.
The NBCC opened in June 1995 and is funded by the Commonwealth Department of Human Services and Health. The
NBCC is located in the premises of the New South Wales Cancer Council at 153 Dowling Street,
Woolloomooloo.

Open Family Australia Open Family is a leading streetkid welfare agency which exists to assist young people at risk of homelessness, exploitation or self destruction, by providing 24 hour individual counselling and social services. From children to young adults, Open Family deals with youth between the ages of 12 and 18 years who have fallen through the nets of traditional helping services.

Strathfield State Emergency Service
The Strathfield State Emergency Service unit is the longest continually serving unit within New South Wales .
Originally formed in 1957 as the headquarters of Civil Defence Group 5. This group area included the council areas of Strathfield, Auburn, Concord, Drummoyne, Ashfield and Burwood. Over the years, each of these council areas has formed their own SES unit.

The South Australia Divisions of General PracticeDivisions of General Practice were established to foster communication amongst General Practitioners, to co-ordinate education and patient management programs and to promote research in the field of primary care. The Teenage Survival Guide IIThe Foreword and Appendix specifically address teachers and youth workers. They deal with why the texts were written, how they were employed and the resulting augmentation of student ethical codes and behaviours. As in the original Teenage Survival Guide the texts, all based on true stories, are springboards for further discussion designed to encourage re-assessment of personal ethical codes, rather than didactic documents designed to inculcate 'correct' behaviour.

VicHealth A small percentage tax on tobacco products by the Victorian Government has allowed VicHealth to pioneer an innovative strategy to promote health within the community. In many countries, funds for health promotion are hard to come by. Yet, the World Bank has now made it clear that prevention programs are essential for a healthy future. The VicHealth model is a way of taxing the most harmful disease-creating product to promote good health.
