Boswell’s Misleading Tirade

comment by Editor, The Strategy, July 1997 on Boswell's claims in the Senate.

Various statements made in the Senate by Senator Boswell on 18th June 1997, were not only incorrect and misleading to the Senate, but, they were also slanderous and discriminatory.

1. Senator Boswell: “But the facts are that Pauline Hanson’s One Nation Party not only harbours and promotes extremists as office bearers and potential candidates, but it advertises in the anti-Semitic racist and extremist rage “The Strategy”...

2. Senator Boswell: “Not only does Ms Hanson sell her wares in the nation’s most notorious far right newspaper, but she recruits her organisers from its staff...”

In reply to Quote (1) Senator Boswell has in accordance with resolution 5 (1)made false reference to “The Strategy” as anti-Semitic, racist and extremist, thus, sufficiently identifying the newspaper’s staff as anti-Semitic and racist,’ to injuriously affect their good reputation and impugn their good character.

N.B: Under Magna Carta para (h) “no-one should be put to trial on the testimony of the prosecuting official without reliable witnesses produced for the prepose.”

In the context of Magna Carta, Senator Boswell was pretentiously appointed himself to judge and adjudicator’ in which process, he has falsely vilified “The Strategy” staff with out reliable witness. Under the Magna Carta and Universal Declaration of Human Rights, I am not bound at law to divulge religious or political beliefs, however, Senator Boswell’s anti-Semitic slur gives sufficient cause to refute the allegation, in defence of my family and friends who are Semites, and whose good character, along with mine, has been assassinated without genuine regard for protocol and manners by force and misleading assertions.

In reply to Quote (2) Senator Boswell has again asserted an unsavoury connotation in recruitment for political parties from the ranks of “The Strategy” staff, nor is it beholden to any so-called anti-Semitic organisations. Further, the Senator takes a wide swipe at the League of Rights, whose membership has a substantial number of Jewish people in its rank and file, as do the major political parties.

It is with concern we note that Senator Boswell has urged the media to persecute Ms Hanson and her extremist associates.

Quote: Senator Boswell: “I also urge the national media from large cities to the small town weeklies to persecute the truth with regard to Ms Hanson and her extremist associates...”

To persecute the truth, when one knows not what it is, is tantamount to persecuting the truth.” it is this paragraph by Senator Boswell, that he is in my opinion soliciting the media into collusion, and places himself in contempt of the Senate and the parliament.

That statement is also in flagrant violation UN’s International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights, Articles 17(1) and (2): 18(1 to 3), Article 19(1) and (2) which are referred to as, Australia has adopted the covenant, whose provisions as above, have been legislated into domestic laws, via the H.R. & E.O.C Act and reside in the Racial Discrimination Act.
