One Nation - One Year on...
11th April 1998

Yesterday was a very special day.

One Nation turned one year. This time last year Pauline Hanson had had to face a violent group of protesters when she arrived at the Ipswich Civic Hall to launch her fledgling party...

Here we gathered to celebrate the first birthday.

The links below will take you to some of the activities and events that happened on this beautiful April day.

As you can see on left and right, it was a "perfect one day, beautiful the next" Queensland day. The mist rising with the sun - framing Pauline Hanson's farmhouse at about 6am....

Chips, fun and horses...

Pauline gets "dunked".

Trees, television helicopters, and groups.

Music, children, poetry, cake and dancing.

The big holiday raffle.

The "500 Club".

Summary of the day.
