Candidate: Jack Paff

Background:  Jack was born the 10th child of a family of 12. He was raised on a dairy farm were he participated in all the chores involved with living on a farm. Jack attended a small country school, riding a horse 4 miles to and from school. He finished high school at an intermediate level and attended an accountancy course through the N.S.W. railways. He also did a stint in the Army.

Later Jack joined the Queensland Police Force, where he attended the Police College at Chelmer. Heserved in all fields of Police duties. After 27 years service he was awarded the Imperial Medal for "Exemplary Service" for which he is very proud.

Jack has three adult children and has lived in Ipswich for over 30 years. He has taken great interest in many aspects of life in Ipswich.

Jack says this town and region is a great place to live in, but he does believe that it can be greater.
