Personal:
Lee has great dedication and tenacity in pursuing that in which she believes. She lives on a small rural property at Littlehampton. She has three adult sons, two married and one single, and has three young grandchildren.
Lee's interests include horse breeding & riding, hunting, training, arts, live theatre, oil painting, ballet, classical music, modern music, jazz, violin, piano, poetry, reading, snow skiing, tennis and gardening.
Background:
Lee was educated at Adelaide Girls High School. She then went on to learn the art of hairdressing and later managed her own two salons.
The opportunity was then presented to her to enter the fashion industry. She joined one of Adelaide's leading department stores and remained there until 1993 as Fashion Buyer /Manager of three departments.
From 1993 onwards, Lee attended the Douglas Mawson and Real Estate Institutes to gain certificates in that industry. From 1993 to 1998 she was fully engaged in Real Estate and had become an Agent owning her own business.
Lee has also completed courses in the Building Industry as well as with the Department for Family and Community Services, the latter because of her concern with the problems the younger generation are facing in today's society
Qualifications:
Lee has had training in basic property law, real estate sales law & documentation, personnel management, real estate advertising management, computing, office management, auctions, financial management, property management, contract law for management, principles of law for management, accounting for non accountants, sales practice, IAS/IPS training and building contracts & documentation.
All of the above experiences and running her own businesses have constantly kept her in contact with the public, which she enjoys.
