Cutting the Christmas cake.

The cake was brought out fairly late in the afternoon.

Pauline Hanson was given the honour of cutting the cake... but before she could I had to find a good spot to get the photo. The only way I could get a decent shot was by getting Pauline to kneel... it was quite amusing saying, "Pauline you are going to have to kneel for me..." as you can see, she obliged!

After the cutting of the cake Pauline gave a short speech thanking everybody for their support.

She said that when someone asked her earlier in the day how she had the courage to stand up in Parliament and face all those "polished" and rude politicians she said, "I never feel intimidated by someone I do not respect, and I have no respect for the politicians in Parliament."

When she finished she thanked Barbara for her hospitality and Barbara responded getting up to thank Pauline Hanson for what she was doing for Australia.

The close bond between these two friends showed.
