The Conference Banquet

The conference banquet started at 8pm.

The party as you will see below was a great success that went on until 3.30am the next morning.

There is an image library of the delegates who attended the conference from this link.

Selected pictures groups of delegates from the evening are shown below:

Yvonne Chapman, Mayoress of Pine Rivers with Joan Gordon State Candidate for Kedron; Tim Jenkins (candidate for Federal Seat of Fisher) and Michelle Cook (vice-Chairman Queensland Election Campaign Committee and candidate development co-ordinator); Vanessa Stewart (President Young Nation) and June Woodward (candidate for the State seat of Redlands); Ken and Heather Hill (candidate for the State seat of Ipswich).

Also taken at the banquet was Don Farquhar (President Mt Gravatt branch) with Michelle Cook before and after digital modification...

The guest speaker at the banquet was the Mayoress of Pine Rivers, Yvonne Chapman. Yvonne spoke after the meal was served. She expressed complete support for Pauline Hanson and spoke of her admiration for Pauline and her stand on issues that were important to Australians.

She talked about her own battles in Pine Rivers with queers in the park toilets and the infamous Lord Mayor of Brisbane.

After her talk Yvonne selected the raffle winners. The prize being a large, framed print of Pauline Hanson at a press conference in January alerting the nation about the Multilateral Agreement on Investment (MAI).

On the left Darryll Kelly, President Ipswich Branch, reveals his shirt of many colours...

As the evening wore on and the delegates unwound, including the traditionally conservative David Oldfield, I was able to catch an unexpected new voice on the singing scene... here he joins John Maxwell Jones in song.

Another hidden talent of David O that we were not aware of.

When I left, just after 11pm, the party was still in full swing. The last (including Young Nation President Vanessa Stewart) leaving at 3.30am. The pictures below are of the Toowoomba City Hall.
