Background: Farming, mechanical and small business.

Rod's main concerns are

• unemployment,
• the level of taxation and the unfair distribution of taxes,
• the decline of Small Business,
• the takeover of Australian interests by multinationals,
• general mismanagement of Government funds by current politicians

Rod says that the major parties are doing nothing to halt our falling standards of living, in fact, the government is encouraging people to become more dependent on handouts - which only destroys pride and self-esteem.

He says

• we must stop the gross mishandling of our taxes,
• encourage and assist small business,
• re-establish our manufacturing industries,
• share the tax burden equally,
• proect Australian resources and industries from foreign ownership
