Porky pies and secrecy at Manly

8th December 1999

Last week I revealed that One Nation's secrecy had now enveloped the on-line mailing list.

Here was a response I received yesterday:

Hi Scott

You're sure right about that head office.

I just gave them a call (7th December) to ask the contact for my local One Nation Branch which is Echuca, so I had an excuse to question why all the branch contacts have been taken off the internet. I don't know the womans name I was talking too as she didn't even say. When I did question her why they were taken off she answered by saying "Yes, we're only including the state and head office contacts, so you can ring them to find out" which wasn't the answer to my question so I asked again. She replied that "the contacts were all very inaccurate, and there was a lot of work in changing them". After then saying "alright" and saying "thankyou" she went silent, I said good-bye and the phone was actually slammed down on me.

Well what do you think of that Scott, I found her very rude and dishonest.

Cheers
Mark

My response:

Hi Mark

You unfortunately landed up speaking to Claire Wright (image right in the Manly office). Claire is the branch co-ordinator. Bruce O'Neill, the suspended secretary of the Griffith Branch, refers to Claire as a "whiteant". Unfortunately the title in this case, unlike the many who have been labelled as such by Manly, fits. The information that used to be up there when I was One Nation webmaster was accurate - it was updated daily.
