B'nai B'rith's submission to the
Victorian Office of Multicultural Affairs

A fax of page 6 of their submission can be seen at this link

The scan at the above link names 14 organisations as racist. Every one of them has taken B'nai B'rith to task. This is their actual crime - not "hate" or racism. Scott Balson's Australian National News of the Day is nominated as "Australia's foremost racist website".

The submission made to the Victorian Office of Multicultural Affairs was then faxed by B'nai B'rith to the media. The above link to page 6 of their submission originates from the Herald and weekly Times - a major Victorian newspaper. The strategy was to get the media to use the "Racial and Religious Tolerance Bill" as a smoke screen to justify publication of their defamatory claims.

The staff at the Victorian Office of Multicultural Affairs confirmed that the submissions they receive are confidential and are not copied to anyone. Balson's reply to their allegations which had been attached to the B'nai B'rith submission is copied below:

Racial and Religious Tolerance Bill
Victorian Office of Multicultural Affairs
Department of Premier and Cabinet
1 Treasury Place
Melbourne 3002

12th January 2001

Dear sir,

I am writing to complain in the strongest possible terms for having allegedly been named in a submission by the Zionist B'nai B'rith Anti Defamation Commission as hosting "Australia's foremost racist website - the Australian National News of the Day".

The strategy of intimidation and defamation expertly played by this organization reflects one of the most concerning aspects of this Bill. I am not a racist, never have been a racist and the website referred to is not racist - it freely expresses peoples concerns and points of view. It is no different in content to thousands of other web sites hosted in Australia. I stopped running the page in March last year - and the archive is now only available by subscription.

The archive does include pages which factually expose the hypocrisy of B'nai B'rith and the ADL. These are both extremist Zionist organizations which do not represent the general Jewish community. Both organizations are a pariah in a country which nurtures free speech.

Danny Ben-Moshe, one of the leading lights in B'nai B'rith, is well connected in the media and uses these connections to make his foul, misleading and defamatory claims against individuals and organizations.

There is a very worrying development taking place in Victoria and the rest of Australia. The so-called "hate crimes" being pedalled by B'nai B'rith and the ADL are often aimed at people who have dared to question what their real motives are. I would claim without fear of contradiction that the statement made by B'nai B'rith about my web page is a classic case in point.

In my book "Murder by Media, Death of Democracy in Australia" I factually demonstrate how B'nai B'rith's front magazine, the Australia/Israel Review, owned by wealthy Jews, published the names and suburbs of some 2,000 One Nation supporters and donors from a stolen list. Somehow the general media did not find this extraordinary event of interest.

Following the publication of this book, and in direct response to it, B'nai B'rith and the Australia/Israel Review's Jeremy Jones have taken every opportunity to publicly label me as anti-Semitic and racist. Neither are interested in the facts - just defaming those who challenge them. For example, my girl friend is Jewish and I have absolutely no problem with the great majority of Jews - just the bad eggs like Jones and Ben Moshe.

I would request that you attach this letter of clarification to their submission in which I am named and I again repeat that I am not racist, not anti-Semitic and am tired of their silly games of intimidation and defamation.

Scott Balson
